Walking in another world – Chapter 500 – Majolica’s dungeon – 50F – Part three

The sound of metal echoes, followed by a dull sound.

It looks like they were caught off guard because of the dust, but also managed to avoid fatal wounds because of it.

The titan didn’t know exactly where they were, so the attack wasn’t precise.

Still, this group that took that attack has been broken, and the four adventurers are down.

When I see them, I turn to Mia and Chris, and both nod silently.

“Don’t let it attack again! Gabin!”

“Orga, keep it away! Geitz, Jin, Let’s go!”

Jake yells instructions while running, and Siphon’s party also moves to support.

The titan is going after the downed adventurers to attack again, but Geitz slips in front of it and blocks it.

Receiving that frontal attack pushes him back, but I can see that he can actually withstand an attack from the titan. This might be important information for me.

“Sora!”

Siphon calls out to me, but I’m already running.

They’re using potions, but it looks like Siphon thinks I need to be there to heal.

Mia is better at Holy Magic, but I imagine he thinks I’m better at healing while fighting on the front line.

I’m worried about the defense of the back row, but there’s Chris and Mia… And the golems coming here to replace me.

The way they’re moving without me giving instructions is a fruit of their constant learning.

I reach the downed people that are being healed with potions, but I cast Heal just in case.

The potions we have are of the highest quality, but it’s not like I can check their HP.

“Hey, shouldn’t you be saving that?”

Asks one of the members of Guardian Sword, but casting Heal four times won’t be an issue.

I can see on my status screen that Natural Recovery Boost is already working.

However, it’s good that we healed them, but it will be hard for them to return to the front line.

Their expressions tell the story. They can see people fighting to hold the titan back, but aren’t even trying to move.

I wouldn’t call this cowardice. When I started using a shield and fighting on the front line, I understood very well how hard that is.

“Fall back. Go guard them in Sora’s place.”

Ash notices it too, and gives them instructions.

“Sorry about that, Sora, but can you fight in front?”

I nod, and join Sera and the others.

That means we’re now separated into three groups, Guardian Sword’s, Geitz’s, and mine, and surrounding it.

I take the place of that shield user of Guardian Sword, and telepathically tell Hikari to use throwing knives infused with magic.

Magic doesn’t work, but I want to see if magic infused weapons do. And it also looks like Hikari is itching to do something.

Hikari couldn’t use those carelessly because people who aren’t used to them would definitely be surprised when they exploded.

Geitz has been with us in the dungeon for a while, so he’ll be fine, but the people from Guardian Sword are a different story.

But now that I’ve given her the green light, Hikari is ready to let off the steam she’s been building.

Of course, she doesn’t start throwing them around randomly. She’s doing it in a way that we can tell how the titan is moving.

The attacks hit without being repelled, but they don’t do damage, because it has high resistance to magic to begin with.

I also block one of its attacks, and get a feel for its weight.

I’d be blown away without skills, but I can actually handle it by making use of Shieldmaster.

I’m also using Provoke to get its attention, and Sera hits it with a heavy attack.

It would start dealing with Sera as a threat if we just continued this, but I keep using Provoke and attacking it with my sword here and there to draw its aggro.

And when Siphon and the others join us, things start heading in a good direction, but its regenerative abilities are just too high.

We clearly don’t have enough firepower.

“Sora, change. Start attacking.”

Says Geitz as I step back.

Few of the people attacking don’t look tired. It’s just Jake, Ash, and Gabin on Guardian Sword’s side, but on this side, Siphon, Sera, Jin, and Hikari are still looking good. Rurika is a little tired, but she can probably still go if I infuse more magic energy in her mithril sword.

I do it to both her weapon and Sera’s, drink a mana potion, and get ready.

My main weapon is a mithril sword, so my attacks work if magic energy is flowing in it. But I can tell it’s still not enough.

Geitz also knows, but he probably expects me to have something to turn this around.

Conversely, I think his stamina is reaching its limit.

“Siphon, Sera, buy me some time. I need to focus a little on making a weapon.”

I tell them I’m stepping away from the fight for a bit, and focus on replicating a weapon.
