The main competition is finally starting tomorrow, so this is our last day in the dungeon before then. Suffice to say, we’ll be watching the tournament.
Also, from the thirty-first floor to the thirty-fifth there are three sets of superior species of wolves, and from the thirty-sixth to the fortieth, there are five sets of twenty.
Then from the forty-first to the forty-fifth there are ten tigerwolves and one black tiger, and from the forty-sixth to the fiftieth there are thirty tigerwolves with five black tigers.
“I guess it’s like this in every dungeon, but the difficulty really ramps up as we go further.”
Rurika is right.
“Yes, but… It also feels like training, uh?”
“Training?”
Sera says something surprising while crossing her arms.
“That’s just how I feel. The difficulty gradually goes up, but it’s like it’s prompting us to grow.”
Maybe Sera’s right about the difficulty.
From the thirty-first floor to the thirty-fifth, the superior species that spawn are random, but their numbers are fixed. The difference is just how long it takes before the next monsters spawn.
We have to keep beating them faster and faster to stop us from being overrun.
“I think Sera is right.”
Says Kaina.
“Why do you think so?”
“I have never met him, but Mister Calotos used to frequently speak of the dog god Stia. It’s assumed that Stia made this place, and according to Mister Calotos, Stia was the muscle brained god as well, who liked to exercise more than anything else.”
“…Is that true?”
Rurika frowns, but considering how this dungeon is, it might be true. Especially considering how this dungeon is made in a way that people don’t die if they are killed.
Although the fairy god may have tampered with it out of malice.
“Regardless of the point of this dungeon, we still have to make it to the top. And according to documents, the monsters up there are…”
Up until the seventieth floor, we’ll mostly be fighting monsters whose power we can more or less predict. I’ve never fought a king minotaur, a superior species of minotaur, but I can assume it’s just a stronger version of a minotaur.
The problem is after the seventieth floor. The documents say how monsters there fight, but the issue is that there are things we can’t learn from just reading. Then again, it’s still better than going in blind.
The beast king has fought them, so he might have advice for us, but… He might use that as a bargaining chip for a rematch.
“What’s with the dejected face, Sora?”
“It’s nothing. Anyway, I think this is a good stopping point. How about we go back?”
“Isn’t it a little early?”
“…Don’t we have preparations to do for tomorrow?”
Rurika asks what kind of preparations, so I ask if we should make our own food or go to the stalls during the tournament.”
“Things are going to be especially busy tomorrow, right? How about we stock up today?”
“Master’s right.”
Hikari immediately jumps in to agree.
“But I kind of want to prepare boxed lunches too.”
“Then let’s split into two teams. Sora can safely keep food fresh, so him and Hikari can go to the stalls to buy food.”
I turn to Hikari, and see her eyes are looking at me, brimming with expectation.
“All right. Mia, are there any flavorings or ingredients you need?”
“Well…”
I check my Item Box as Mia lists things that I’ll hand them to her later.
When we go around the stalls, it’s me and Hikari, Elsa and Alto, and everyone who was summoned here except Shun.
“Elsa, Alto, let’s go!”
Hikari takes them as she leads the charge to the stalls, and Shizune gives chase.
“Are you sure about this?”
“We don’t have much to do anyway. And we haven’t been out in a while.”
While we were in the dungeon, Naoto and the others were either with Shun or with Elsa and Alto. It sounds like they’ve been busy.
“Hey, what are you doing? Sora, come pick Hikari and the others’ stuff.”
Yells Kaede, and I put the stuff they’re buying in the Item Box.
“Isn’t this too much? They’re making boxed lunches too.”
“We don’t have to eat it all right away. Hikari won’t have any problem eating what’s left while we travel either.”
“Spatial Magic uh…”
I think they have magic bags, but those don’t do a perfect job keeping things fresh.
Shizune also said something about her not using them. Even if she did, there’s a good chance she won’t be traveling with them for the time being. That’s the impression I get from watching her with Elsa and Alto.

Thanks for the treat.
Just wondering about the line that has “reincarnated”, all the people that came with Sora (& past hero’s) was summoned, so shouldn’t it be summoned instead ?
Anyway apart from that thanks for this weeks updates 😎👍
Yes, you’re completely correct. The only term that includes both reincarnated and summoned is isekaid.
I don’t get why the girls are always Sora why he has certain facial expressions. I make angry and worried faces all the time, and no one ever asks me about them. The only time anyone comments about my face is when they are angry and my facial expression is the only thing they can attack, and obviously that is not something that is portrayed at all in this story. I think it would be cool if people commented on my face when they are not angry, but it almost never happens.
