Walking in another world – Chapter 646 – Zuirya dungeon – Part eleven

“One more… Do you know where it is, Sora?”

“I do, but it’s far.”

We’ve been on the fifth floor for a week.

We’ve already hunted more than twenty-five red orcs, but we’re missing one black orc.

“Fighting them is very easy with the equipment you made.”

“True.”

Say Argo and Guilford. They’re wearing robes made with red orc and black orc materials. They also have other monster materials and holy water mixed in, and have the effects of fire resistance and darkness magic resistance. It really is equipment specialized for this floor.

It should work well against other monsters that use darkness magic, but we won’t know how well they do against monsters like liches until we try.

I could make these with Alchemy, but it would take more materials than with Creation, and the effect would be a little worse. This would only affect the fire resistance, because it would still block most darkness magic. And since that includes Fascinate, it would be plenty helpful.

After we leave the dungeon, I’ll make stuff with Alchemy and take it to the alchemist guild.

Even if it’s basically in name only, I am a part of the alchemist guild. And this equipment might make it so more people hunt on this floor in the future.

It’s mostly Hikari who recommends I do this, but her main reason is so more meat leaves the dungeon.

I won’t do it now because I need materials. And when I do, I’ll mention Bozen, the guildmaster of the alchemist guild in Majolica.

It’s in another country, but maybe mentioning that I know a guildmaster will make them more accommodating. Maybe I can get them to keep quiet about who provided this equipment.

“Should we use the shamal horn?”

“…How long would it take to go and return from where the black orcs are?”

“About five days?”

I say to Argo. Incidentally, it would take us three days to reach the staircase from where we are.

The issue is the trend we’ve been noticing with these monsters. Only red orcs spawn nearby. It seems the others hunting here avoid black orcs, so no new ones spawn.

They only fight them when they have to.

“We still have some uses, so we can use it once or twice.”

Says Argo, and he looks at Hikari. She nods, and takes the shamal horn out of her item pouch.

We hold our weapons, and magic energy is created by the sound.

These are…

“Three red orcs!”

“Leave this to us. Keep playing, Hikari.”

Says Argo, and Hikari blows on the shamal horn again.

“! Seven black orcs!”

“Okay, you deal with those!”

Argo and his party face the red orcs, and we face the black orcs.

Sera and Rurika run towards them, with their weapons that have the light attribute.

Still, they can’t take them out in one hit, but the battle progresses in our favor.

“Chris, slow them down.”

I use Provoke, and attract the attention of the black orcs Sera and Rurika aren’t facing.

Those five turn to me, and one disappears from my sight. Once it’s done collapsing, I see Hikari behind it. She snuck a hit from a blind spot and destroyed its magic stone.

The others turn to Hikari, so I use Provoke again. It looks like one of them dying temporarily removes the effect of Provoke.

I keep using it and firing Light Arrows to draw aggro.

Hikari erases her presence again, and moves around to try to sneak into one of their blind spots again.

They’re all facing me, but Chris casts Tornado in a smaller area to hinder their movements.

This results in two of them being separated from the others, and Mia and Hikari each attack one.

I focus on the other two, and while I can confirm they’re using darkness magic several times, the robe blocks its effect.

I block attacks with my shield and counterattack here and there, but I don’t move forward too much.

One of the black orcs is bigger than the others, but my party will come to help once they’re done with the black orcs they’re fighting.

First it’s Sera, then Mia. Once we have the numbers advantage, I start mainly attacking, and all the black orcs are down.

Then I turn to Argo’s party, and see them taking down the last red orc.
