What if an artificial intelligence reincarnated in an underperformer’s body in another world? ~The result is super technology that will surpass anything in that world of magic – Chapter 44 – The artificial intelligence hacks a magic stone – Part two

Qualia’s magic energy was beginning to access the ancient magic stone.

The first layer of access, ‘know’.

He used the information he received from Lobelia as a basis, touched it through magic energy, and learned everything shaped by this magic stone.

It was such an incredible source of energy, that it could replicate a black hole.

The conglomerate of magic energy that weaved together the magic stone. The atomic composition of the magic energy that shaped the magic stone. The merits of the particles that symbolized the atoms.

As he opened the information he received, different information was made available.

He kept digging deeper, like a matryoshka, in a seemingly endless factorisation.

Qualia took in all of this history, long enough to make him feel faint.

His optimal solutions were beginning to feel like information endlessly stacked in a big pile.

“Information about the ancient magic stone Black Hole input in its totality.”

In total, it took thirty-eighth seconds, with enough mass that if put into the format of a book, it would easily go over a trillion pages.

That information was all in Qualia’s brain.

He would then attempt the second layer of access. Looking for the magic energy that would stop Black Hole, based on the information he acquired.

He was walking on thin ice, as if he hit the magic energy that would trigger it, Black Hole would activate instantly.

It was as though he was treading a needle with high-voltage current running through it, as he attempted to find the magic energy thousands of times.

“Confirmed response.”

When he hit upon a certain magic energy, the magic stone’s structure shook a little.

“…Human… Detected?”

In the aggregate of magic energy, Qualia recognized a fluctuation he remembered.

In it he caught a glimpse of a light value that was the same as a human face.

“…Determining to be of low priority.”

It was strange to reference a human face here. It was strange for something to display ‘tasty’ values here.

There was no time. He had to eliminate the information that could be labeled as static.

“Calculating optimal solution.”

He hit upon twenty-three thousand eight hundred twenty-nine different magic energies, and he finally found the one that would stop the magic stone’s operation.

But something had to be done before he moved on to the third layer.

He had to determine the number and locations of ancient stones in the capital.

“Activating 5D printer.”

What the light emitted from his right hand created was not a photon weapon.

It looked similar, as it was a palm sized tube, but the unevenness of its surface was different.

Furthermore, the 5D printer also produced a transparent film the size of an eyeball.

“What did you make?”

An obvious question received an obvious answer.

“A radar system with the peculiarities of the magic energy of Black Hole, and a contact lens that works in tandem with it to display their location.”

Basically, the radar system emitted radar waves to find Black holes, and right after, the information would be displayed on the contact lens attached to his right eye.

The two girls sat in mute amazement, unable to follow, as Qualia finally tracked how many ancient magic stones there were, and their locations.”

“Thirteen in total. All locations understood. The shortest lead time is six minutes and twenty-one seconds to go.”

“…You figured it out.”

That much, Lobelia and Spirito understood.

“But… Can we really stop them all in six minutes?”

“The mages probably won’t make it…”

“No prediction revisions. Type GUN.”

A photon weapon in the shape of a gun appeared in Qualia’s right hand.

“Qualia will use this to snipe all the ancient magic stones with beams carrying the correct magic energy.”

Third layer of access, solve.

Qualia pointed his photon weapon to the blue sky.

But that was all. Lobelia and Spirito did not understand how pointing it at the sky meant targeting the ancient magic stones.

“W-where are you aiming?”

Spirito asked as she looked up, but Lobelia thought back to the duel with Arrows.

“Now that I think about it… When you shot down Arrows’ magic, the beams of light curved in mid-air. So it won’t be a problem even if there are things in the way?”

“Affirmative. Qualia learned about obstacles and people during the search process. The risk that people or obstacles will interfere with the trajectory of the beams is low.”

The beams had a mechanism that would allow them to change trajectory according to the shooter’s will.

Not having the targets in front of him was not an issue for Qualia.

“But wait, snipe… Are they not going to activate if you hit them with those beams!?”

“Affirmative. These beams carry magic energy self-extracted from Qualia to stop the target’s operation.”

And then, Qualia pulled the trigger thirteen times, while pointing his gun at the sky.

The beams flew towards the sun, soaring like swaying lightning, and scattered in thirteen directions.

One fell close to them.

“!?”

There was no time to even say anything. Both Spirito and Lobelia covered their eyes as the beam landed and burst.

Only Qualia followed its trajectory, as the beam covered the jet black magic stone in a pure white light.

“Ah, the Black Hole!?”

The two sisters quickly turned their heads towards it.

It seemed to be the exact same, but the black haze surrounding it that did not allow any light to pass was fading.

Lobelia looked closer, and nodded.

“It’s dead. The magic stone has been totally neutralized.”

“No prediction revisions. The magic energy carried by the beam interfered with the internal makeup of the magic energy in the magic stone, and stopped its activation.”

Qualia then proceeded to look for ancient magic stones with his radar system.

The result was displayed on the contact lens on his right eye.

“Zero Black Holes detected. Confirming elimination of threat.”

Every chapter it is the same “no prediction revisions”. For some reason, when he says that is my favorite part.
