Yes, the horse uses magic.
It releases the wind blades I often use against the hobgoblins. Not just one or two, over ten. The hobgoblins can’t dodge them all, and their lives are swiftly taken.
The one surviving warrior is put down when we pass by it and I stab it with my sword.
With all the monsters down, the horse finally stops.
I want to tell it to stop sooner, but since it took out all the monsters, I can’t complain.
I pet its head, telling it it did a good job, but it shakes its head like it was obvious.
I collect the weapons from the hobgoblins, get on the horse again, and advance through the dungeon.
We come across monsters occasionally, but the horse deals with them all. I come down when it’s over and just collect the weapons. It’s pretty easy.
There are all sorts of horses.
At first I thought it was stumpy and wanted another, but this horse is pretty useful.

Thanks to riding Fuuma, I manage to get through what would take a full day in a few hours.
Fuuma has been taking out most monsters, so we got here quickly.

It retreats before an over ten meter snake. It attacks with a wind blade to try to slice it, but it’s using some sort of trick, because the wind blade passes right through it and moves towards the sky.
This repeats several times.
Fuuma neighs while retreating, looking scared of the giant snake.
Yes, giant snake. It’s an illusion created by a mirage great snake, but Fuuma can’t see through it.
I can see the real mirage great snake hiding in the grass, and take it down with a stone stake, which also erases the illusion.
I look at Fuuma with a proud expression, but it snorts like it’s saying it was only fooled because it’s never seen that before.
But then it keeps falling for mirage great snakes’ illusions and shooting magic randomly, wasting magic energy.
And my magic is going down too. Apparently the source of a summoned beast’s magic energy is the wearer of the armor.
I tell it not to use so much magic, and tap it on the ass, but it neighs and creates a tornado.
And that blows us away somewhere.

Armor reworked by an alchemist. Has a small shield with high wind resistance. Also has the effect of boosting the summoned beast’s power, and while it will obey, it also makes it appear with a strong will. *If it were a little smarter, it would possess the power to reach the fortieth floor on its own. (It was influenced by its summoner…)
