Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 308 – Visit of the witch

The situation is moving faster than I thought.

Aira said she was going to call my mother-in-law, and the next moment, I got a call. She’s supposed to be busy, but came here the very next night.

“Fufu, hello everyone. Excuse me.”

“M-mother!?”

“Miss Sakuya!?”

“Eh!? W-welcome…?”

The girls know I’m doing something in my room, but not what it is. I wondered if I should tell them Aira was calling Sakuya, but I didn’t expect her to be here the next day. She’s too nimble, so everyone, me included, is taken aback by her presence.

She’s brought inside and led to my room by Aira, who has an innocent look on her face, and I go after them. I tell the confused girls I’ll explain later, and ask them to wait in the living room. I feel bad, but I’ll apologize later.

“So this is Amachi’s room. Fufu, I’m nervous.”

She sits down on a chair and looks at me with an enchanting smile. She really has a magic to her. Just her being here increases my heart rate, and even though she’s not lightly dressed, her beauty makes my face feel flushed. My eyes are drawn to her like every breath and action is calculated. She really is a modern day fascinating witch.

It’s hard to believe she’s a mother of four.

It’s my second time talking face to face with her, but something is different now.

We’re close enough that I could reach and touch her, and her aroma is tickling my nostrils, tearing at my sense of reasoning. And since she seems less reserved towards me, it feels like we’re a lot closer.

“So Amachi, what is it you wanted me to see?”

“Ah, yes. It’s this.”

I line up what I made with my skills.

One is like a reworked version of the love necklaces. We had a ton of jewels from the last two times we were fighting slimes in Unlucky Hall, so I used them without reserve.

The first generation love necklaces were necklaces that were already made, with a rainbow diamond embedded in the middle.

With these I used precious metals as a foundation to change their shape with a skill, and I used different things as reference. I put rainbow diamonds in the middle, black diamonds on both sides, and completed them after fixing their color and weight balance.

True Appraisal calls them true love necklaces.

It can be read as true ・ love necklace, meaning a real love necklace, or according to Aira, makanashi’s necklace… My skill only tells me the name, grade, and skill attached. It says true, but if they fall short compared to the original, I want to rework them. But in the end…

“This is…”

““…””

Now my heart is racing for a different reason. The anxiety is shaking it.

But looking at her face, I understand there’s no need to worry.

“…Great. Did you really make this by yourself?”

“Y-yes.”

“I supplied normal precious metals, but it was master who acquired dungeon materials and worked on them.”

“I see… It really shows the love you have for those girls. That you thought if they are going to wear them, you should shape them yourself… Fufu, fastidiousness would sound nice, but the possessiveness is strong, right?”

“Uguh…”

“They are fortunate. Being loved this much.”

“So the effect…”

“Fufu, don’t be in such a rush. First, they have the same effect as the first love necklaces, but they also have a strong resistance to status conditions, and have an effect that they cannot be broken by anyone but you. I assume even natural degradation is stopped.”

“Status condition resistance… I see, so they do not nullify them, but have a very high chance of repelling them. This is master’s possessiveness at work as well.”

“Mu.”

“And it is almost indestructible. We won’t have to worry about them being broken in dungeons.”

The status condition resistance is handy, but more importantly, only I can break them?

That’s probably because I was thinking about reworking them if they didn’t come out right while making them. It’s that worry given form. But that’s just the necklaces, when I was making the others, I was focused with no intrusive thoughts. I didn’t think about failure at all.

I assume they are better because of it.

“Next are these…”

True Appraisal calls them true love rings.

I thought about making them when I defeated the first Huge Rainbow Slimes and got rainbow diamonds. I really thought about making them the second time, when I got three more. And I put that idea in motion when I got the Magic Engraver skill… Or not.

It was because the four of them reported to me that we might be ‘expecting’…

“…I see. It’s just like you Amachi, engagement rings with a wonderful effect.”

““…””

We stay quiet and wait for her to continue, and she describes a broken skill.

“Monsters taken down by the wearer of this ring count as having been taken down by Amachi.”

““!!?””

So it won’t just be the golems, the girls can participate in my fights too.

“I see…”

“Oh my. You don’t look too happy.”

“Hahaha… I decided to give them the rings regardless of the effect, but it’s so broken and useful that it kind of changes the purpose of giving them the rings…”

“Geez, there’s no helping you.”

She gets up, and hugs me.

“Ah…”

“Don’t worry about that, it will be fine with those girls. They understand what you really feel.”

My thoughts unravel, and it’s all I can do not to melt, as I manage to get a word out.

“…Yes.”

“Good boy.”

I feel a soft sensation and an aroma that paralyzes my brain, and almost fall quietly with no hope of resistance.

What would happen if Aira didn’t save me after recovering from the shock over the rings…

Thanks for the chapter.
But the rings seem to be troublesome in certain situations.
E.g.: If Amachi wants to hunt a monster to spawn the rare version but there are other monsters around it. So far the girls would hunt those other monsters while Amachi focuses on the targeted monster species.
But if the girls wear the rings then they cannot hunt those other monsters as it would interrupt the streak of 100 same monsters Amachi is attempting to defeat in a row to spawn the rare version.
Therefore they would need to take off the rings then.
But with those rings being symbols of love from Amachi taking them off is probably something they would not like to to.

I was thinking the same thing, the girls should mainly focus on taking out any mobs in the area that could wreck his 100 same mob kill streak
