There was an impromptu series of battles against rare monsters, but I think it was time well spent. Well, the plan was to take it easy until the fourth floor and fight Gadaga there in the afternoon, but it’s already noon, so we’ve come back to the association to report.
I feel bad for the ones waiting on the fourth floor, but we can’t leave that area with water golems spawning without reporting it. Once we’re done with that and lunch, I’ll use that hidden treasure to warp to the third floor’s entrance, in a place without any people. I trust that Kasumi won’t tell anyone, so I think I can tell her about that.
“I was worried thinking something might have happened, but you really do cause incidents everywhere you go…”
“Well…”
Being praised like that leaves me embarrassed.
“I think that curiosity and the way you sniff out the truth is wonderful, but you need to be a little more prudent or you’re going to be the death of me…”
“Yes. I’m sorry.”
“Fufu, it’s fine. We have the video data and the detailed stats. Leave the publication of the monster data and the editing to us. We will discuss the new rare monsters in the regular association… Actually, since they might appear in other dungeons if the circumstances are right, we will hold an emergency meeting tonight. I’m sure they will all be interested if I tell them you did it again.”
“Hnfufu, you’re popular, uh Shouta?”
“It’s Shouta after all.”
“You’re making the branch managers of area one work like this… That’s amazing, big brother.”
We have lunch in the conference room after reporting, and square out the skills. Aira lines them up on the table as Miki and Kasumi watch.
“These are the skills collected this time, minus what Enki received.”

“S-so many…!”
“Kasumi, do you want any leftover skills?”
“Eeh!? I said no! And my sisters-in-law and Ayane use them, right? I couldn’t take them.”
The short adventure and lunch broke the ice between them, so she’s now calling them sisters-in-law. Except Ayane, probably because she sees her more as a cute little sister.
Well, it’s Ayane.
“But there’s a bunch of leftover skills. The others wouldn’t mind either, right?”
“I have no problem giving skills, but it should be Kasumi’s choice. Even if she doesn’t level up, having multiple skills widens your fighting methods.”
“Well, they wouldn’t hurt to have. But taking things that don’t match you could be troubling, so let’s be careful.”
“Darling really wants to spoil Kasumi.”
“Well, she is my little sister.”
“Big brother…”
“Miss Kasumi, your team consists of five members, including yourself, correct? Then how about you take five spare Command III?”
“Eeh!?”
Command?
It’s a skill that still goes for big money in auctions, but I guess they’re just sitting there because we have no use for them. You can consciously decide to boost stats within your team, so they could switch it on and off until they get used to it.
From what I’ve heard, Kasumi’s team is all serious and honest girls. I’m more relieved, because I’d be worried if they were men.
“Can’t I… say no?”
“No. This is the minimum option to reassure master. Correct, master?”
“Hn… I guess so?”
“I’m sorry, but since you refused to level up, receiving skills became set in stone.”
“Uu, you’re on his side, Aira…”
“Correct. I will not hold back even if you are master’s family and my sister-in-law.”
I’ll leave it up to her to decide which skills she wants, and I’ll check the new ones.
Three catch my eye, Mud Doll, Wind Armor, and Formless Shift.
Name: Mud Doll II
Grade: Unique
Classification: Magic skill
Description: Spawns mud dolls infinitely in a designated area of a muddy swamp. The area increases with skill level, as well as the number that can be spawned at the same time and their size.
Name: Wind Armor
Grade: Legacy
Classification: Magic skill
Description: Envelops the user in an armor of wind that possesses high defensive power. Its effect is boosted by the number of wind magic skills one possesses, as well as the skill level.
Name: Formless Shift
Grade: Legacy
Classification: Special skill
Description: Boosts defense, penetration power, and various resistances of beings without a proper form. The formula is 5 x skill level. Can be used with other skills.
Hm…
When Aki and Maki were fighting, all Mud Doll II did was trip them up. And when it was IV, it created multiple dolls that joined the fight. Magic to trip up others is pretty useful, so I think I’ll have plenty of opportunities to use it.
I’ve experienced how threatening Wind Armor is, and I think its effect should be boosted by Wind Magic and Elemental Magic, and also Duststorm Control and Storm Control. I was worried about Enril’s defense, so I think it needs this skill.
Lastly, Formless Shift is an ability Iris and Seren need. I feel like Enril could use it too, but not Enki, since it has a physical form.
Let’s distribute these and roll the gacha.
