We take down a hundred more on the way to the second settlement, and a Champion Goblin appears on the third settlement. We head to the second settlement, and take down the rare II. But the smoke dissipates, so we must have not satisfied the conditions for Gadogada to appear. The drops spread around, and I level up from eighty-one to one hundred thirty-six.
At this point, the only place where we haven’t taken down a Champion Goblin is the second settlement, so we hunt a hundred more. We take down the rare that appears, the one on the first place turns into a rare II, and we take down a hundred more.
And the one I’m after appears.

This is awful.
At the start, powered up ones had twice the level and one point five times the stats of rare monsters. They felt like a big threat, but lately, in part because of my stats, they just don’t measure up anymore. Well, I guess it was always going to feel inferior after Gadogada, but the fifty percent debuff is just too big. It’s just like your average rare now.
The skills are good, but the stats are so sad that it goes down in one hit, without a fight.

I’ve accomplished my goal, but looking at the map again, I remember a Giant Goblin spawned in the first base. Its stats have been reduced by half, but it’s still a level hundred twenty rare II, so I should hunt it because it’s dangerous. And we might as well get the skills too.
So we exterminate goblins along the way, I roll the gacha inside Enki’s iron curtain, and take down the Giant Goblin. I level up from two to a hundred fifty-two. I’ve done all I wanted, so we’re all happy with that as we exterminate a group of goblins on our way to the entrance to the fifth floor.
