Meanwhile, in a hospital, Yuugo’s friends worried about him.
Yuugo just barely beat back Zaraki, but the recoil was severe, and he had to be taken to the hospital to treat his serious wounds.
Thankfully, his life was not at risk, but it was uncertain when he would wake up.
Ryuuga and the others were not fully healed either, but were to a certain extent. However, the situation being what it was meant none of them had cheerful expressions.
“The guards are searching for Koumaru and Zaraki. They’ll find them, there’s no way they can move fast with how wounded Zaraki was.”
“Yuugo bet his life on that fight. We’ll bring Raiha back.”
They were concerned about Yuugo, but Raiha was the more pressing issue.
She was sealed in the jewel, and if they were going to take her back, it had to be now.
If they lost track of Koumaru and Zaraki, they would not be rescuing her… Thinking about that made Setsuna and Sakura tremble, and after Angel and Melt gave them words of encouragement, Marcos spoke.
“We need to figure out where they are somehow and go after Koumaru. And rescue Raiha, for Yuugo’s sake too.”
Yuugo entrusted Raiha to them, and after Marcos said they had to rescue Raiha and do what their friend asked before collapsing, Melt and Angel silently but strongly nodded.
But one person, Ryuuga, leaned against a wall with his arms crossed, completely still… The others purposefully avoided talking to him.
For Yuugo, for Raiha… Koumaru’s ambitions had to be crushed.
Everyone felt that, and Jinba rushed into the hospital.
“There you are. How’s Yuugo?”
“It’s a miracle that his life isn’t at risk, but…”
Said Marcos, and Jinba nodded with a solemn expression, understanding mostly what was going on.
He then turned away, cleared his throat, and continued.
“Hn, hnn…! I’m just speaking to myself here. It’s to no one in particular. Just mumbling some information the guards got.”
“…!!”
Everyone fell silent, understanding what he was doing. And as everyone looked at him, Jinba provided information under the guise of mumbling to himself.
“According to the guards, Koumaru and Zaraki split up and are on the run. The note with their predicted routes… Oops! Did I drop it somewhere?”
He said while dropping it from his pocket.
Setsuna picked it up, and everyone gathered around her to see Koumaru and Zaraki’s escape routes.
“But here’s the problem. That Zaraki is not only fully healed, but he got a power up too, and he’s using it to stir up chaos. The guards and magic knights are trying hard, but they’re pretty much outmatched.”
“No way…!? He was in tatters after the fight with Yuugo! How…!?”
“The jewel…! He must have used the jewel that sealed Raiha!”
“So… Zaraki has Raiha!?”
It was bad news, but Setsuna and Sakura nodded strongly, because it also meant they knew where Raiha was.
Jinba looked at them, and continued after a small sigh.
“…You won’t listen if I try to stop you, but you better be ready if you try to save your friend. Zaraki is really strong.”
Was what Jinba said before heading out to the field to do his job as a guard.
They thanked him for the information, and after turning to Phi, Marcos looked directly at him and spoke.
“Phi, take this memo. Show it to Yuugo when he wakes up.”
“…Yes!”
They had no proof, but Marcos, Phi, and everyone else thought the same.
Yuugo would wake up. And Marcos knew that when he did, he would need the note indicating where Raiha was. Marcos entrusted it to Phi, got up, and… squinted.
“What’s wrong, Ryuuga? We’re going to save Raiha!”
Said Marcos to Ryuuga, who was still against the wall, not moving at all.
Ryuuga finally moved, but… after looking at the note in Phi’s hand, he responded.
“…Go if you want. I’m going after Koumaru.”
“Wha…!?”
“What are you saying, big brother…? Why go after Koumaru…!?”
Asked a surprised Yui, as Ryuuga said he was going after Koumaru rather than save Raiha.
With his emotions boiling, he opened his eyes wide.
“Yui, what are YOU saying? She, Raiha Utsusemi… killed our father!”

Ryuuga, I know you’re in your revenge arc but stop being stupid. Yuugo almost did trying to save you, you swore that you’d settle things, and just found out that Raiha isn’t at fault for your father’s death. Despite that you still blame her! Marcos punch this fool!
