“Beating good-for-nothings who can’t do a thing really is the best!!”
Going back a little, in the hospital. Regen’s trusted Gimoul led the other group as they rampaged where Phi and Yui were.
They saw the men who entered the hospital hurt guards and doctors, and talked while holding hands as the hospital fell into panic.
“Phi! What is going on!?”
“It’s the evil organization my brother talked about! One of their groups is attacking!”
By looking out the window, he could see ruffians filing in to attack from the outside.
It would be cramped if they all rushed the building, so they sent a few first to control it.
Phi was surprised because there were more than he thought, while a guy with a nasty smile stood in front of them.
“Ooh! Nice! A boy and girl with cute faces! This will sell well to a pervert!”
“Kuh…! Stay away!!”
“Phi…”
Phi stood in front of Yui to protect her from the man wanting to take them as merchandise.
The man laughed scornfully at that cute little resistance, and reached towards him, but…
“No use! If you don’t wanna get hurt, stay put and bugerogaaaaaaah!?”
Suddenly, the grinning man was hit with an intense kick from the side.
He rolled on the floor after this surprise attack, trembled as he raised his head, and tried to get up.
“Who!? Who did that ugyaaaaaaaaaaaah!?”
Another one. An electric attack hit him directly, sending him flying through a door to the outside.
Other ruffians were hit with electric attacks, bringing momentary peace to the hospital.
“Yui, Phi, are you okay?”
“Are you hurt?”
“Big brother! Raiha! Thank you, you saved us!”
Said a thankful Yui.
Phi also breathed a sigh of relief, and Ryuuga spoke as he looked outside.
“Raiha, are those the kidnappers Yuugo talked about?”
“Probably. The one that seems to be the commander is holding a magic item called a birdcage.”
“So there are children trapped inside…”
He whispered as he faced them again.
If the man who could turn into a monster armor beast, Regen, was not there, this was most likely a separate group.
This meant they decided to attack somewhere else while most guards were at the Thanksgiving Festival… Ryuuga reached pretty much the perfect answer, as Phi spoke with a worried tone.
“There are so many of them… More than ten or twenty.”
“There’s about a hundred of them… A perfect exercise after a hospitalization.”
“Eh!? Ryuuga, you’re not…!?”
Ryuuga checked his dear sword, and faced the ruffians outside again.
He looked at Phi with a light smile, and asked a surprising question.
“Question, Phi. Who would win if your brother faced that rabble?”
“…My brother. Absolutely.”
“Fuh… Right? And I’m his partner. That should be enough, you get it, right?”
Phi believed in his brother’s victory with no doubt, and Ryuuga’s smile intensified.
Phi nodded, and Ryuuga turned to Raiha.
“Raiha, protect the people in the hospital with a barrier. I’ll handle the ones outside. And…”
“I understand what you say. Leave this to me, and good luck, Ryuuga.”
“Be careful, big brother!”
Ryuuga waved and walked to the entrance of the hospital.
He walked between people looking outside fearfully and trying to set up a barricade, left nonchalantly, and heard numerous surprised people calling out to him.
“What are you doing!? It’s dangerous, come back!”
“There are so many dangerous people outside! Do you want to die!?”
“Big brother, what are you doing…!?”
“…Don’t ask me…”
Ryuuga was about to reject the questions asked of him like always, but when he turned and saw the faces of the people looking at him, he stopped.
Men, women, young, and old all looked on with concern. Some were so scared that it felt it could crush them, as they looked at Ryuuga.
What would Yuugo say?
He would reassure the scared people, and would respond strongly with a bit of a joking tone.
In order to have the scared people in front of him feel hope… Ryuuga spoke with a small smile.
“What am I doing? Simple…”
He smiled strongly and daringly.
His smile was not that of one who was about to face overwhelming odds, surprising people for a different reason. Ryuuga turned to the ruffians, and answered with a ferocity he had not released in a while.
“…I’m putting down the night parade of a hundred demons!”
A line up of villains. A hundred. Ryuuga walked towards them with many eyes on him.
They looked at him with anger, curiosity, and disdain, as one after the other, they raised their voices with abuse.
“You got me before…! You’re gonna pay for that!”
“I dunno if you’re stupid or crazy coming at us alone… But you’re gonna regret looking down on us!”
“You’re the target1 The one who hunts you will be the winner, so entertain us!”
“…You’re all spouting something, so annoying. I’m going to finish you quickly, so if you want to die, come at me.”
Ryuuga ignored most of what was said to him as he drew his Loong King Fang.
This arrogance drew anger as Ryuuga focused on the enemies he needed to cut down, and howled with an overpowering smile.
“Now… Let’s go full throttle!”

“Could it be…”
Yui thought of a question as she ‘looked’ at his brother from the hospital.
She tilted her head a little in a cute gesture, and asked it.
“Did my big brother like that line?”
“Yui… I don’t think you should ask that.”
