This restaurant sat on the highest floor of a tall building that stood out even in the capital.
“T-this is incredible…!”
“It is. I imagine the view would be better at night, but it is still very nice during the day.”
It seemed they had the best seats in the restaurant, and they could get an unobstructed view of the city.
They sat facing each other, and ate their food as it was brought to them.
“Hnn….! This is great!”
“Hn… Yes. This sauce gives it a very good flavor.”
It was very good, not unlike the meal they had the previous night in Idea’s mansion.
It also looked very appetizing.
The chef in Idea’s mansion was very talented, but this restaurant was not any worse.
However, it was easier to relax while they ate in Idea’s mansion.
There were many eyes focused on them, especially Helvi.
Although there were not as many people as when they were walking around town, they were not just passing by either. They were constantly peeking over at them.
Most people around were couples, but Helvi still monopolized their stares.
Theo mostly did not notice, but Helvi found it irritating.

Helvi was not expecting to attract this much attention, and started thinking about a counterleadmeasure for the next day forward.
Many of the people in the restaurant were regulars, mostly married nobles, but among them were also commoners celebrating something.
The regulars figured she was that sort of commoner, but still had their doubts.
Someone so beautiful would surely quickly become popular, even if she was a commoner. They theorized that she was not from the capital, and had recently arrived.
Some nobles considered talking to her, but she had a man with her, which made it difficult to approach her.
“Who is that man with her anyway? Surely not a noble?”
“I have never seen him. Even if he is a noble, he is just a child, and not a match for that beaut…!?”
“H-hey! What happened?”
Two noble men sitting at a nearby table were having this conversation, when one suddenly stopped talking and grabbed his crotch while shrieking.
“…Hmph.”
“What’s wrong Helvi?”
“Nothing at all. This is very tasty, Theo.”
Helvi looked at the two men with a cold stare for a second, but no one noticed.
Theo and Helvi finished their meal and leisurely drank their drinks.
The nobles were not coming to talk, and would certainly spread rumors about the beautiful woman in the restaurant after they left… Or at least they would, if nothing else happened.
Suddenly, a lot of noise could be heard outside the restaurant, and the door was vigorously opened.
Most people turned its way, and scowled at the man that entered.
“It’s Dario Lendiro…”
“The idiot son of the Lendiro family, or rather, the current idiot head of the family. Why is he here…”
The man was a prominent noble in the capital, Dario Lendiro.
His father was the head of the family, but he took over after an unfortunate accident that led to his father’s death.
His face was attractive, perhaps due to him carrying the bloodlines of both his parent’s families, but his body was awful.
He was very fat, which was actually quite noble-like in a way.
Dario was not a regular customer, and the other nobles wondered why he was there.
“Mister Dario, since you do not have a reservation, I regret I must ask that you visit us another…”
“Quiet. I’m not here to eat. Shut up.”
He said arrogantly to the employee that spoke to him humbly. He made his way towards a table while his big body shook.
It was the table of the beautiful woman that captured everyone’s attention.
“Uwah, seriously…!?”
“Is that Dario going to talk to that beautiful woman? How awful for her.”
Mumbled the other customers.
Dario probably heard it as he walked, and responded with glares.
Most customers quieted down.
Dario was known for being an idiot, but he had a lot of power as a noble.
Most of it was built by previous generations of heads of his family and his parents, but that power was very real nonetheless.
It would be very bad if someone got on his bad side.
He walked through the silent restaurant, and approached the best seat in the house, where Theo and Helvi sat.
Theo was surprised by the strange man approaching them, but Helvi completely ignored him, and continued to focus only on Theo.
The man stood directly next to Helvi, and stared at her face.
He grinned, perhaps thinking about its beauty, and then…
“Hey you. I’m making you my wife.”
These words signaled the rising curtain and the start of a disaster.
