Gyes’ ancestor is the hundred armed giant Hecatoncheires, and he’s the young leader of the demon gods.

He has close cropped white hair and a white beard, dark red skin, and a horn on his forehead.

He looks exactly like what you’d call an oni, and his muscular body is like something I’d see in the open-weight category of judo.

He’s sitting on the sofa, taking as much space as two kids all by himself, and staring at me.

“Big bro! When are you coming to the demon god’s village!? We’re always ready to receive you!”

I’ve heard before that the thicker their horns are, the more manly they are considered to be in the demon god’s village, and Gyes has a pretty impressive one.

But the way he sounds a little lonely creates a sort of strange gap.

I can’t be honest and tell him I just forgot…

I promised him, but I made the same promise to Katima before, and then Snow came along. Things were so hectic that it completely slipped my mind.

And not only did I make him wait, but demon gods like him and ancient dragons are rivals.

He was waiting all that time, and then Gram came along to brag that I went to the ancient dragons’ place, so Gyes had to come see me directly.

“My little sister keeps saying she wants to meet you too.”

And the dark shadow… Tiltue, braces herself and manages not to fall, but her nose is a little red.

Tiltue is tough, but I guess Gyes’ hard stomach hurt her a little, and she’s holding her forehead and squinting.

But then she turns my way and smiles.

“Daddy!”

Tiltue tries to run to me, but a tackle from behind by a white shadow… Snow, pushes her down.

It’s kind of funny that it happened again, but it caught Tiltue completely off guard, so it looks like it hurt.

“Welcome back you two. Did you have fun playing with the snow?”

“Yes! Tiltue turned into a snowman!”

“I see.”

Snow says with a big smile on her face, while lying on Tiltue’s back.

She really likes Tiltue. She charges at her to hug her anytime she has a chance.

“Mnh!”

“Wah!”

Tiltue gets up with Snow on her back, and holds her there before putting her down.

“Geez, I told you not to run and cling to me all of a sudden, because it always surprises me.”

“Eh…”

“No eh’s.”

“But you do it to daddy all the time.”

“Muh…”

Tiltue turns her head between me and Snow.

Yes, both her and Luna do that sort of thing without warning.

“Darling is fine. No matter how hard I cling to him, he always takes it like a big strong tree.”

“…And you can’t?”

“I can from the front… But when you attack me from the back like that, it surprises me, right?”

“Ah…”

She’s a great spirit, so even though she’s a newborn, she’s way stronger than any monster on this island.

And the three girls all behave, and stand in a line like they’re used to it.

It’s like something I used to see on old anime for kids, and gives off the feeling that they’re well educated.

“You three are all dirty from playing in the snow since this morning, so go take a bath.”

It’s pretty cute seeing the three of them run off.

But then I look at Gyes, who is crouching after being blown away by Tiltue, and think that I’d be in big trouble if I was normal.

I’m really glad I have this tough body.

“You too Arata.”

“Hn?”

“You’ve gotten pretty dirty too, after those three played around in the snow and clung to you. Go wash yourself too after they get out.”

“Yes.”

And as I think that I can’t treat those three like kids like this, I go help Gyes get up.
