If you told me in my past life I’d one day be naked in a reserved hot spring with a beautiful girl that’s also naked, I’d tell you to get real.

Reina and I are soaking in a large hot spring, back to back.
The heat I feel from her back is hotter than the hot spring, and her nervous heartbeat is being transmitted directly to me.
Why are we back to back? Because Snow would get mad if we were further away.
“Mommy and daddy have to be friends!”
It was something unexpected for a hot spring.
I guess Snow picked up on something when she saw how shaken Reina was, and how I was panicking. She might’ve felt like we were growing apart or something, so she instructed us to stay close like this.
It’s nice that she’s sensitive to our subtle emotions, but a kid wouldn’t understand this situation. But in the end, we can’t go against this girl, and are staying close in the hot spring like this.

I move my hand a little to support my body, and touch Reina’s hand.
I immediately pull it back, but even though this really shouldn’t mean anything at this point, I get embarrassed.
Is it the hot spring that’s doing this to me?
“How did it turn out like this?”
There were all sorts of conditions that led us here.
First, obviously, us coming into the hot spring at the same time. Only Sakuya could’ve done that, since she’s the one who guided us here, but I can’t imagine her pulling a prank like this.
Actually, maybe the demon god race doesn’t feel embarrassment over this sort of thing, and it’s normal for them for men and women to be naked around each other… Then that brings up other questions.
They wear clothes as they go about their daily lives. If they felt no embarrassment over that, a strong race like them wouldn’t need clothes, or separate changing rooms for men and women.
More importantly, Sakuya likes someone, and got embarrassed when Reina inquired about that.
At the very least, there is embarrassment about the ‘activities’ between men and women.
“Everyone bathing together.”
“Bath.”
At least Snow and Luna sound like they’re having fun.
They’re going to the edge and around the big hot spring.
Meanwhile, Reina and I are trying not to look at each other, as we have to stay here until the other two are satisfied.
“It wasn’t on purpose, was it?”
“Of course not. Sakuya told us the place was reserved, and since it has one entrance for men and one for women, I just went through the one for men.”
“I see. You wouldn’t do something like that…”
We should have a trusting relationship, after living together all this time.
At the same time, I can think of someone who would create a situation like this.
An annoying person that’s always risking herself to make fun of us.
“Meaning…”
“Yes, this…”
Reina has reached the same conclusion.
“This is Wilhelmina’s doing!”
“This is Wil’s doing!”
As we say it at the same time, small bats gather in the sky into the shape of a person.
And then, a true ancestral vampire, the oldest being on this island, appears with her golden hair fluttering in front of the moon.
“Kukuku… Hahahaha! You’re getting pretty friendly, uh!?”
With tears in her eyes, she laughs from the bottom of her heart while pointing at us.
She’s just appeared and I’m already irritated!
“Hihihihihi… Ah, my stomach hurts.”
“You really sound like you’re having fun there!”
“I really am!”
Wil is flailing in the air, like she’s trying to rile us up.
Dammit, she’s going further than usual because she knows I can’t get up from here.
“Uu! Uu!”
“Reina, no.”
“I know, I know, but… Geez!”
Usually she would attack right away, and I think Wil understands it too, because she’s outside of Reina’s field of vision.
If Reina wants to use magic, she’ll have to turn to face me. That nasty Wil positioned herself there on purpose.
“But you really behaved in an interesting way!”
“So you really did do this!?”
“Did what? Talk to Sakuya so she reserved this place? Remove the partition between men and women? Or use magic to make it so Snow and Luna’s voices wouldn’t echo?”
“Everything!”
“Then the answer is yes! I did it!”
She says, exposing her canines while laughing and giving a thumbs up.
Ah, dammit, what a nasty girl.
I even thought about how I couldn’t hear Snow and Luna when I came in here.
I thought for sure it was because they were far, but thinking back, I would’ve heard it anyway thanks to my good hearing.
I should’ve known something was up the moment I realized I couldn’t hear anything.
“Reina! How are you feeling!? Are you all excited about being in a mixed bath with the guy you like, and imagining all the things you’re looking forward to and awaiting you?”
“S-shut up! I’m not answering you!”
“Thanks for the delicious embarrassment!”
This isn’t going anywhere.
Wil feeds on people’s embarrassment, so Reina is currently a very delicious feast for her.
“Arata, Arata. You can see Reina’s naked body if you turn around. Why don’t you?”
“Because I don’t want to trouble her, obviously.”
“Ah? Do you even have something between your legs?”
“That’s a way too dirty way of putting it.”
I’m really taken aback by how low she is.
At least ask if I’m really a man instead, or something.
“But if you really didn’t like it, you’d do something and leave. And since you’re in this situation together, Reina obviously wants you to see her, even if it’s by force.”

I can feel Reina’s surprise behind me. But it’s all right. I’m not falling for that.
I glare at Wil, to really get that point across, and she lets out an exasperated sigh.
“Ahh, you’re hopeless.”
“I’m actually getting mad now.”
“Hm…”
I know threatening Wil won’t do anything, but I still feel like I had to say it.
Then she makes a rare docile face, and goes quiet.
“I see, then let’s shift from the same direction as always. How about this?
For a moment I wonder what she’s talking about, but then she turns into small bats again…
‘I might as well go into the hot spring too.’
I hear directly in my head, as suddenly, the naked Wil falls in front of me, under the moonlight.
