His skill with his weapon is such that it’d be laughable to compare myself to him, and it’s all I can do to withstand his attacks with my skills.
I used magic to strike from a blind spot, but it was like he had eyes on his back. He dealt with it like it was nothing.
I’ve been learning his moves with Trace, See Through, Spatial Grasp, and Parallel Thinking, but I can’t copy them right away. I can’t handle it all either, and I’m taking hits.

He didn’t have that before, which confuses me, but it doesn’t change what I have to do.
I keep swinging my greatsword, and attack from the back, sides, and with magic from below to catch him off guard, but nothing works.
We lock sword to sword, and I grow the talons on my divine bird boots as a last resort to kick him, but it doesn’t work.
The mass of his longsword is reduced, and another sword appears.
By the time I notice I’m in danger, it’s too late, and one of my divine bird boots is cut away.
It being sliced off means I also lose my foot from the arch down.

But the divine bird boot? I send magic energy to my sliced right foot, and there’s no response. And I can’t get the talons to grow on my left foot either.

I was going for the kill with my attacks, but that’s because I felt they wouldn’t connect.
He’s far above me, so I could be merciless.
He responded to that, and he should’ve just dodged my kick by jumping back.
