I get on Fuuma again and we move out.
After a while, we’re attacked by monsters, beat them, and retrieve them.
First it was monkeys and a stag beetle, then an owl with eight eyes and a praying mantis with a different head, then a black slime and a giant trent.
I find many more monsters, but honestly, they all pale in comparison to what I’ve faced in The Abyss so far.
I’ve grown too, and got the powerful longsword from the silver-haired guy, but I still can’t say these monsters are strong compared to what I’ve faced.
That’s not a bad thing, I’m not complaining, I was just anxious because it seemed like the time when an incredibly strong monster would appear.
As I think that, yes, there’s a change in the world.
The green world suddenly turns monochrome.
This alerts Fuuma and leads it to stop.
I come down from it and look around, and hear a cry from somewhere.
It’s very quiet and weak, like it’s disappearing.
Kyurururu~. Kyururu~.
It sounds like a bird, but no. It’s the cry of a monster, but it’s weak.
Fuuma and I carefully go in its direction.
Spatial Grasp doesn’t detect it, but it’s not that far.
We slowly approach, and I frown when Spatial Grasp picks it up.
It’s very small, to the point where I doubt the skill is working right. I only picked up the tentacle monster’s reaction when I was very close, so it could be that.
But as I brush tall grass aside, there’s what Spatial Grasp picked up.
