Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 2 – And the reward is…

“Level Gacha?”

I’ve never heard of this skill, but that’s what the stats board in front of me says.

I’m the idiot that threw himself into this slime hunting that reeks of gambling, so at the very last I know what gacha is. But when you add the word level to it…

‘Will you use Level Gacha?’

“…I guess I won’t know what it is until I do. Let’s use it!”

Clunk.

A capsule machine suddenly appears in front of me.

It’s one of those things where you put money in, pull a lever, and a prize comes out.

But there are a few differences compared to the ones you usually see in places like toy shops.

There’s no slot to put in money. Instead, there are two buttons labeled ‘one level’ and ‘ten levels’.

There’s also a sticker in front, that I guess describes this product.

‘Spend your levels to get wonderful prizes!’

‘One roll gets you an R rank or higher prize.’

‘Ten rolls guarantees at least one SR rank prize.’

‘100/100 remaining.’

“It doesn’t look like there’s a hundred of them in there…”

Although the case is opaque, so I can’t see what’s inside very well.

More importantly…

“What is this?”

In the ten years since dungeons first appeared, all sorts of skills and magic have been discovered, and they’ve brought great advances to science and our civilization.

But this is completely different from anything I’ve seen.

“…There’s no use thinking about it. Skills are all on the fringe of common sense anyway. I won’t understand it if I don’t use it.”

But which one should I press?

I’m currently level thirty-one. And since I started from level one, I can only assume I can’t go lower than that.

But these levels are the result of three years of hard work. In particular, from twenty to thirty, which took me a year and a half… No, close to two years. Will it all disappear with the push of a button…?

My hand naturally reaches towards the ‘one spin’ button, and my finger trembles.

“But it took me three years to get something that has less than a few percentage points of happening… Would I be able to pull off an SR or higher with just ten rolls of the single level one? I don’t think so…”

The probabilities aren’t listed, so I can’t do anything stupid. By the way, not rolling isn’t an option.

I change my mind, and reach towards the ‘ten spins’ button.

“If I’m going to waste them, I might as well go in head first!”

Clunk. Clank clank clank.

I hear weird noises, and ten capsules come out of the machine.

Three are red, and seven are blue.

“Which is which…?”

I’m glad to see different colored ones, but… Let’s try opening the blue ones first.

『RPhysical strength +3』 x 2

『RPhysical strength +5』

『RDexterity +3』

『RConstitution+3』

『RAgility +5』

『RMagic Power +5』

“Items that permanently increase stats!? But… What’s with this?”

The capsules all list their effects, and come with shining orbs. They’re very similar to skill orbs, but they’re things that sometimes drop when monsters are defeated, or are sometimes found in treasure chests. They often appear in auctions too.

Of course, this dungeon has no treasure chests, and the only rare monsters are those slime with different colors, so I’ve never seen one of these items here.

So, judging by how many there are, I assume blue ones are R.

Items that permanently increase stats are rare, and they should be pretty valuable. Especially the plus five ones that are like a full level.

And since there are plus three and plus five ones, I can tell that even in the R category not everything is the same.

But in the end, is this a good effect? Or bad?

I bring out the stats again to check.

“…Oh? The Luck I poured SP into is the same.”

I lost ten points because I went down ten levels, but the Luck stat is the same.

Now let’s try using those items.

“These stats with this level… No, they’re still far from a normal person’s, but it’s different compared to how I’ve been. I have more Physical Strength than when I was level thirty-one… Ah, and I still have the red ones.”

I pick up the red capsules from the ground. Oh, and the blue ones are gone.

“So they don’t leave trash behind. That’s useful.”

And with that carefree whisper, I get to opening.

『SRPhysical strength +10』

『SR Skill: Appraisal: Lv1』

『SR Skill: Physical strengthening: Lv1』

“I-I can get skills!?”

I check my stats right away.

Hum, it says 21 everywhere now. Also, why is the formatting so weird? I don’t know if you can fix this, but I would appreciate it if you did. *smiles*
