That stupidly loud roar just past noon scared me.
What was that?

>>349
You too? I thought I was gonna wet myself.

I heard about it from an instructor. That was the war cry of the rare monster hobgoblin.
It doesn’t just have a big voice either, it’s really strong too. I’m sure you also had that drilled into your heads when you first came here, but beginners can’t beat it. If you see one, run in the opposite direction.

So that’s why the first floor was deserted in the afternoon.
There were some goblins in the central passage too, so I thought something might’ve happened.

You’re lucky you made it out. You need to be aware of that kind of abnormality, or you’re not gonna last long in dungeons.

>>353
Thanks for the warning. But I didn’t hear any voices like that when I was there.
355 Name: Anonymous adventurer
Apparently someone took it down. I heard it was some guy that just happened to bump into it. And that he got a skill orb too.
356 Name: Anonymous adventurer
What? I’m so jealous!
Well, I’d rather read that than read that a newbie got eaten.

Hobgoblins really are the troublemakers of first floors of beginner dungeons. These places would be really perfect for newbies if it wasn’t for them.
They only pop up once every few months, but no one knows what made one spawn again after just a few days.
358 Name: Anonymous adventurer
But they did narrow down a lot where it could’ve spawned. Three dead ends, one in the northeast, one in the northwest, and one in the south-southeast.
We’ve been getting more newcomers too, so we need to make sure they’re careful about these places.

Thank you as always, senpai.

No problem. Come see a lecture if you’re not busy.
368 Name: Anonymous adventurer
Sorry to cut in, but apparently that guy that’s called the weakest dropped by today.
370 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>368
Ah, that legend?
374 Name: Anonymous adventurer
I heard he’s so untalented that he can only hunt slime, but how is he really?
His stats are set to private, but he has been at it for three years.
375 Name: Anonymous adventurer
We won’t know until we actually see it.
I mean, if someone keeps going for three years straight, they’re going to reach medium level as long as they manage to stay alive, no matter how inferior they are compared to everyone else.
But this guy is still wearing iron armor.
376 Name: Anonymous adventurer
Hey now, is he really still at beginner level?
Just how weak is he if he’s still like that after three years?
377 Name: Anonymous adventurer
But check this out. That guy has Maki acting like his exclusive.
378 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>377
Ah?
379 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>377
Wha?
380 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>377
I haven’t been this pissed off in a while.
381 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>380
Go complain in the appropriate thread. Not that I don’t get how you feel.
I’ve never seen the proxy exclusive system being used in a beginner dungeon.
382 Name: Anonymous adventurer
I’m surprised the branch manager let him get away with it, with how weak he is.
383 Name: Anonymous adventurer
Apparently the manager from Unlucky Dungeon specifically asked for it.
384 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>382
It’s only in this dungeon that there are exclusivity interviews and tests.
Well, that also means that the association will send you an invitation if you work hard enough. That was how I got my exclusive too.
>>383
It’s Unlucky Hall.
385 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>384
I’m pretty sure Maki’s test is abnormally hard too. And stop bragging.
386 Name: Anonymous adventurer
But I feel bad for Maki for having to deal with a guy like that.
I really should save her.
387 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>386
Nice delusion.
388 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>387
It’s not a delusion, just watch.
394 Name: Anonymous adventurer
But unless I’m mistaken, it was a guy wearing full iron that brought in the orb.
Could it be the guy you’re all talking about?
395 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>394
Wha?
396 Name: Anonymous adventurer
>>394
Ah, I saw it too. He had an iron longsword, but was dragging around an iron great sword.”
I was so concerned with the orb, that I missed how strange that was.
397 Name: Anonymous adventurer
So he took it down?
398 Name: Anonymous adventurer
No, that can’t be right. It’s the slime hunter we’re talking about.
I’m sure there’s something behind Maki becoming his proxy exclusive too. And I’m gonna reveal that secret.
