I take down goblins with the girls, see Kasumi fight here and there, and the same smoke as always appears.

We’re close enough to see the first settlement, and while there are still goblin reactions there, Enki can take them out all at once.
We just have to hit a hundred goblins, those included, but… Are Aira and Enril going to take much longer? It’s easy to take down a hundred by just moving forward, so they should be back by now…
As I think that, I see the girls put items in the drawstring purse they borrowed from Aira.
“We are done collecting items.”
“Good job.”
“Hm, this feeling of seeing items practically pop out of monsters I take down is crazy.”
“Once you have a taste, you might not be able to go back…!”
“Is that a problem? I mean, we’re together forever now.”
“Nishishi, yes.”
“Yes!”
“If you say so Shouta, we have no intention of leaving either.”
“Yes.”
We start flirting as we wait, and I hear grumbling from two people.
“You’re in a dungeon, big brother and sisters-in-law. Leave the fooling around for later.”
“Yes master. And I assert my right to hear that sort of romantic talk later.”
“That’s ri… Eh!? Aira!?”
Kasumi jumps with surprise.
I know, right? She’s good at sneaking in from blind corners…
“Welcome back, Aira. You’re pretty late.”
“I thought you might want it, so I brought easily over a hundred. And it seems Enril did the same.”
‘Popoh!’
There’s a big horde of goblins after Aira to the left, and another after Enril to the right. That should easily be over two hundred, maybe three hundred.
And there are some orcs mixed in…
“Ayane, don’t use area of effect magic.”
“Yes!”
“Let’s kick them around!”
‘Gogo!’
‘Gegya!?’
‘Gegyagya!’
‘Gegii!?’
‘Gege…!’
‘Gogogo!’
After kicking around weaklings, we collect our loot as we watch Enki fight.
They really brought over three hundred goblins, and that resulted in four Commander Goblins spawning. We might have been close to a fifth, but that’s not necessary, so we stopped.
But it was lucky that eight healer goblins spawned too. I forgot about those, but Healing Magic is still rare, so I’m grateful.
“You can take them down, Enki!”
‘Goh!’
Enki anchors its lower body and rotates its upper body, mincing the goblins swarming it. That’s not possible for a human. Enki has humanoid shape, but it’s still a golem that can freely change its joints.
They’re rare monsters, but they’re still just four level thirty-six monsters. If Enki gets serious, they can’t possibly defend themselves. They all turn to smoke at the same time.

Their smokes are still up, and it looks like they’ll all progress to rare II.
Enki steps back, and I signal for Ayane to get ready, as Kasumi hesitantly approaches me.
“Big brother, do you always fight like that?”
“Not always… but typically. Isn’t it more efficient if you take them all out at once, be it common or rare monsters?”
“Uwah…”
She’s creeped out.
“I saw you fighting orcs, Kasumi. Sword Drawing was cool. Do you have to sheathe the sword to boost its power?”
“Yes. I sheathe it while dodging, and then strike when I see an opening!”
“Cool. Is that more like a hit-and-run style rather than vanguard?”
“Yes yes. We have a shield user in our team that tanks. But these were low level orcs, so I could easily handle them alone.”
“Eh…”
It’s not like me, who stays in the front line and attacks, dodges, and blocks. I guess my swords are different from her katana in the first place.
After a few minutes of looking at the smoke, they all well up, and the next monsters appear.
Four Kaiser Goblins. And they call forth over three hundred goblins that charge at us. Even if the stats are the same, having a commanding brain makes these more troublesome.

The Kaiser Goblins order the goblins to charge forward. It’s pretty much the same number as before, and Kasumi doesn’t look happy, but this isn’t a threat. We don’t even have orcs in the way this time.
“Do it, Ayane.”
“Yes! Crash Tempest!!”
Both rare II and the hundreds of weaklings are powerless against Ayane’s sixty-five hundred Intelligence and LvMAX magic. They’re swallowed by a powerful giant tornado and cut apart along with the settlement.
Up until now, we’ve only had the chance to do something big like this in fights against small fry that didn’t matter. But thanks to these rings, we don’t have to care about who takes monsters down. It was tough having to fight while making sure I dealt the finishing blow, but having to take them down at the same time in the middle of a big group like this is even worse.
But now Ayane can fire large scale magic. Everything gets blown away. Ayane’s really helps out a lot when fighting big groups, I need to make sure to praise her a lot later.

Now I’m sure of what I just suspected when I took down Gadaga and hunted in the high rank dungeon.
Monsters summoned by rare monsters don’t matter to the hundred count. That means that Ayane’s big spell spread around skill orbs and equipment, but only the four smokes of the rare II rise.
