In the morning after I overcame a long tough battle in a room filled with a sweet smell, we’ve decided to end the final bee investigation. The girls say they have some plans around noon, so we might as well finish it in the morning.
In the end, what I didn’t try yesterday was seeing if scouts switched targets to someone who didn’t smell of honey if they found one along the way. And see if they disappear when they spawn after the hive was hit, and the hive was destroyed.
We tried the former yesterday, when we smelled of honey but others along the way weren’t attacked, but we learned today that they do attack once the smell completely wears off. And we also confirmed that they do disappear.
We discovered that the defense squad won’t disappear if they appear at the same time as the hive is destroyed, but they will disappear if they appear and then the hive is destroyed.
This goes for both a regular and a powered up hive, so it could be useful if there are too many and people can’t deal with them. But I think regular adventurers should cover themselves with honey if they’re going to attack them.
In the last two days, we took down countless maroon bees, thirty-six Killer Bees, and ten Red Killer Bees.
Kasumi leveled up to one hundred sixty-seven,
But since only the Red Killer Bees that appeared in the first and second waves of the powered up one counted for Charge, it’s currently 2/50. And my level stopped at seventy-five.

Well, my stats and skills won’t grow without the gacha, but gaining Luck is nice. Forty-eight more to go. That’s forty-eight hundred levels. Ninety-six hundred Luck.
I feel like that immense Luck would be enough to meet the conditions to spawn rare monsters and drops. There’s a long way ahead, but as dungeons get more difficult, the levels of rare monsters get higher too, so it might not be so long.
Back in the base, Aira collects my tent next to it, and sets up a big tent used by teams.
“What are you doing?”
“Preparing.”
“For what?”
“It is a secret.”
“Eh…”
I’m curious.
Everyone around me look like they know, so did they do something and keep me in the dark? I guess I’ll know when the time comes.
Aira then starts preparing lunch, but it’s clearly twice as much, and Kasumi is fidgety.
This might be related to the tent, but I just focus on Compression. Skill Compression is now III, so I have more skills I can evolve, and I can compress more skills of the same type.
That limit has been lifted, so I compress thirty-six Poison Antibodies I got the last two days, and get nine Poison Antibodies II. This is a welcome change. It almost brings tears to my eyes.
“This is a spectacular sudden change.”
“It’s nice that it’s easier, but I have to be careful not to convert everything, including what I want to leave aside.”
“Yes.”
Anyway, I give Iris three Poison Generation III, three Paralysis Poison Generation II, and three Poison Antibodies III, making them IV. I take three Poison Antibodies III too, making it IV. And lets take one Hunter Heart to max it out. That leaves with this, combined with what I already had two days ago.
Poison Generation: 78
Poison Generation III: 11
Paralysis Poison Generation II: 8
Poison Antibodies: 10
Poison Antibodies: 9
Poison Antibodies III: 4
Aerial Sword Techniques Lv3: 12
Hunter Heart Lv1: 9
Assassination Heart Lv1: 10
Yes, that’s enough.
But I want to give the last three instead of keeping them in reserve.
“Aira, do you want the two heart techniques and Flying Sword?”
“Oh? Should you not give the heart ones to Iris?”
“Hunter Heart comes from Throw, and Assassin Heart from Martial Arts and Assassination Techniques, right? It would be one thing if it was just Assassination Techniques, but Throw and Martial Arts don’t fit Iris’ image.”
‘Pururu.’
“Iris says it can be left for later.”
“Then I will gladly take them. Is it all right if I take four Flying Sword Techniques?”
“Sure, they’re spares anyway.”
Aira takes Hunter Heart and Assassin Heart. Both are Lv1, but both max out.
Ding dong.
With that done, the doorbell rings.
