Enki and the Wenkamui are still going at it. The Wenkamui has it beat in stats and skills, and the overwhelming Constitution means regular attacks practically deal no damage. Because of this, it doesn’t need to defend, and focuses on attacking. Conversely, Enki has to switch between attacking and defending, so it doesn’t stand a chance in a one-on-one.
But Enki isn’t alone. Enril is raining wind blades from above, Iris is using Mucus Generation, Poison Generation IV, and Paralysis Poison Generation IV to slowly scrape it away, and Seren is creating water spears with Water Magic, Ocean Magic, and Muddy Stream Control from a distance, opening holes like a water jet cutter.
All of these attacks would normally be off the charts in terms of killing power and how much of a problem they are, but not after its stats went up sixty percent. Their stats are all 3200. The Wenkamui has 4480 Physical Strength and 4160 Constitution.
My most powerful technique, Twin Bladeless Sword, would have a tough time breaking through its Constitution. I might take it down if I hit it a few times, but that technique makes me a lot more tired compared to the others, enough for me to collapse, so I can’t use it over and over. And so, even if Adamantine Armor buys me time, it would only get worse as time went on.
I should use that technique as a finisher if I can.
“Then…”
‘Goh! Gogo!’
‘Vooh!!’
“Ah, this is bad.”
I take a lot of sand and iron sand from the waist bag, and make two piles of sand on the floor.
“Enki, switch!”
‘Gogo!’
Enki’s body is getting scraped by repeated attacks, bringing it down from five meters to three. And so, I tell it to heal.
I jump from behind Enki, and execute some attacks while clad in Adamantine Armor.
“Hand of Sorcery! Thunder Arrow! Times four Magic Missile!!”
‘Voh!?’
Several streaks of light pierce its chest, burn, and explode, but none of them get through it. But I manage to draw blood, so I keep attacking. What I can do now is wound it and create places where it will be easier for a sword to enter. I should keep the regular Bladeless Sword in the pocket until then too.
‘Voh!’
“Kuh!”
Bam!
“Heavy…!”
I block an attack that was swung down with my two swords, but it was an attack from a several ton body, so my feet sink into the ground. Enki took several of these?
‘Gogo!?’
“Focus on healing! Guh…!”
Boom! Bam! Baam!!”
There’s an impact and explosion sound like lightning fell, and my whole body trembles, not just my arms. I can’t keep taking these attacks that make me numb, so I have to rely on Adamantine Armor a few times, and counterattack when I see an opening. I slash with my swords, use Purple Lightning Arrow, and Magic Missiles because they have high penetration power. Maybe because I keep using them, or because Adamantine Armor is nullifying its attacks, the Wenkamui is angry and keeps its focus on me.
Others deal shallow wounds in the meantime, but its main focus is on crushing me. It’s my job until Enki is back, but at times like these I’m thankful for that stupid amount of Magic Energy.
It’s really hard when its focus is on me, but it’s good that it makes it easier for others to attack. It makes me wish I had Haru’s aggro skill.
“Deadly Blow.”
‘Vuvoh!?’
Aira was completely hidden, and pierces the leg that isn’t being held down by Iris. The Wenkamui’s posture crumbles, and a large rock appears over its head.
“Petit Meteor!”
Normally she only uses Wind Magic, and it’s her first time using Earth Magic Lv10 outside of training.
Boom!
The rock hits its head cleanly, and as the Wenkamui is about to collapse, Aki and Maki jump out.
“Let’s go, Maki!”
“Yes!”
They appear from the left and right to execute special moves.
“Buster Fist!”
“Raging Torrent Spear!”
‘Vuvoh…!!’
Both hit hard from each side. Buster Fist damages its left eye, and Raging Torrent Spear pierces the right. The Wenkamui gets up, covered in wounds, and glares with its remaining eye, the left.
It’s an enemy, but it has guts. But it’s not the only one in tatters, I’m pretty spent too. The girls managed to hit because they caught it off guard, but it won’t work again.
As I think that, I feel Enki approach from behind.
“Enki, can you do it!?”
‘Gogo!’
Enki spreads its arms, back to its normal size, and prepares a Dynast Claw. This technique has incredible destructive power, but its large swing makes it relatively easy to dodge if you know it’s coming. And since the Wenkamui also has it, it should know how to deal with it.
And so, I purposefully close the distance between us and glare. The Wenkamui glares back with a groan, but half of its attention is on Enki as it prepares a Dynast Claw. I don’t just need its eyes on me, I need its attention too, so…
“Full boost!”
‘Voh!?’
The moment its attention is on me, I infuse a lot of magic energy into my eyes.
“Tremble with fear… Panic Magic Eye!!”
“Vu… Vuvoh!?”
The Wenkamui flinches, and Enki doesn’t let that escape.
‘Gogo!!’
‘Voah!?’
Ten claw marks are carved deeply into its body, and I yell towards them.
“Twin Strike ・ Bladeless Sword II!!”
‘Guvoh!?’
The Wenkamui’s body suffers a lot of cuts, and it collapses as it slowly turns to smoke.
