The frontier alchemist ~ I can’t go back to that job after you made my budget zero – Chapter 380 – Scream and shout

The Weakest Seventh Seat Screams.

As that scream echoes all around us, I look up, searching for where that purifying light attack came from.

It doesn’t take me long to find it.

The sky is covered with monsters, but a single point is shining with a pale light. I see one singular humanoid monster with wings in that light.

I can see the light around that monster swelling. It’s obvious it’s about to fire again.

“Ahri!”

“Yes… Skill, 『Heaven’s Judgment』!”

I point up to that one spot in the sky and call out to Ahri.

Her face gets bright red, but she takes a deep breath after responding, and shouts the name of a skill she reluctantly showed me before.

It’s just like her to immediately realize I want her to use that skill. She doesn’t have her magic eye, but she’s as perceptive as ever. But her face always gets red when she uses skills… Ah… Could it be that she’s embarrassed?

Ahri yells so loudly that it drowns out the Weakest Seventh Seat’s scream.

And then, she swings her arm widely, and throws her spear up.

The spear is enveloped in bright red light, and goes up like a streak of lightning unleashed from the ground to the sky.

The monster looks like it’s about to fire purifying light again at any second, but Ahri’s spear pierces its chest.

The pale light shining above turns deep red, and disperses the very next moment.

“That was wonderful, Ahri.”

My praise is drowned out by the sound of many feathers ruffling.

The Weakest Seventh Seat is still screaming, and his subordinates that are clumped together so tightly that they fill the sky fly this way one after the other.

It looks like they’re trying to save the Weakest Seventh Seat, but they’re all destroyed by the purifying light eating away the Weakest Seventh Seat as soon as they get close.

But still, the flood of monsters coming from the sky doesn’t stop, so Ahri and I fall back to escape the monsters rushing this way.

Rose undoes the chair and instead forms a wall to protect us, and then, one of the vines forming the wall slithers and points to the ground, where the hand that was holding the bone knife I made is being burned by purifying light.
