Every time I start to run out of breath I take a sip of the potion in my hand.

My lack of exercise is rearing its ugly head. Oh well, that’s why I made these stamina potions in the first place. When I drink it, it immediately makes me not tired… Oh, I see it!

I drink the potion every ten meters, but I can finally see the medicinal herbs.

“Good, there’s still medicinal herbs left.”

I remember the area where they grew being wider. It looks like someone has been picking them periodically.

I don’t want to get in this person’s way, so I only take as much as I need. There are herbs that help stamina, help wounds regenerate, and ones that expel poison.

Of course, the herbs don’t do much by themselves, and their effect does not improve that much through normal transmutation.

I take out the same three scrolls I use for simple transmutations and an empty bottle.

The three scrolls stop in mid-air and open.

The three different medicinal herbs and the empty bottle in my left hand, and water from the lake are released from the binds of gravity. They float in the air, and the water takes the shape of a ball.

I activate the second scroll.

This is the same purification I use to make distilled water. I made a scroll because it would be too much trouble otherwise.

I’m actually really proud of it. It’s one of the best things to come out of my basic research.

Ultra pure water is beyond normal pure water, and this goes beyond even that. It’s completely pure water. Water and nothing else.

But it takes more than just activating a scroll. I have to very precisely manipulate magic energy.

I’ve been making a thousand every day, so I can do it in my sleep, and it doesn’t take very long to finish.

Next, I use magic energy on the first scroll and send the three herbs into the pure water.

I stop the magic energy manipulation on the pure water. I was using it to remove any impurities from it.

When that’s done, the pure water starts eating the herbs. Liquids with a high degree of purity melt things more easily the more pure they are. This is especially true for water so pure it bends the laws of nature. To keep the balance of the world, the perfectly pure water destroys the medicinal herbs and eats them.

The ball of water in front of me suddenly turns green.

“《Purify》.”

I activate the second scroll again, targeting the green mixture of pure water and medicinal herbs to turn it into a pure potion.

The mixture of ingredients necessary to treat the woman I found turns into a potion.

Impurities are expelled from the liquid in front of me in the form of dust, and the green liquid changes into a golden color.

“《Fixate》.”

The completed golden potion is fixated in this world.

Finally, I grab the empty bottle still floating in the air with my left hand, and put it below the ball of shining golden liquid.

I touch the bottom of the ball with my right index finger.

“《Release》 the constraints of gravity partially.”

The golden liquid starts dripping into the bottle.

After the last drop, I quickly close the bottle.

“Ahh. I haven’t made a potion in a while, but that wasn’t too bad. Now let’s hurry back.”
