Walking in another world – Chapter 366 – Return

I open my eyes, and feel like I was dreaming, but I can’t remember what it was.

For some reason, my eyes are wet like I’ve been crying.

“You’re awake.”

I look where that voice came from, and see Ignis.

I guess I was sleeping on the floor.

I look around and see Ou with… Is that the dragon king? It looks like they’re talking in front of the transparent box.

“What happened to Elizabeth?”

I vaguely remember her being defeated. My memory gets a little fuzzy when I try to remember the end.

“She’s gone, but we have a problem.”

“Problem?”

“Yes. The door we came through is gone.”

Does that mean we can’t go back?

“Sora. We were thinking that maybe you could do something with your Transfer.”

I’m about to try it, but I notice that my body hasn’t fully recovered.

Was I sleeping for a long time? Nevermind that, let’s check it first.

I try to use Transfer, but notice that the option doesn’t appear. So I try to create a new magic item for Transfer, and…

‘Do you wish to fly to the magic item?’

It says.

“Apparently I can’t.”

“I see…”

Ignis’ response doesn’t show a whole lot of disappointment. Maybe he was half expecting it to be the case.

More importantly, there’s something on my mind, so I ask it.

“I’ve thought about it before too, but how come you know what skills I have?

My People Appraisal skill is maxed out, but I still can’t see what skills others have.

“…I see. So you can’t use ability Appraisal.”

What skill is that? I look for it in my skill list, and find something.

Ability Appraisal. Allows the user to learn what skills the target has learned. Is this it? I’m pretty sure this didn’t appear when I leveled up People Appraisal.

It probably appeared when I broke the limit. I need three skill points to learn it.

Let’s save that for later. It would be a useful skill, but I want to accumulate some skill points, because I spent so many all at once.

And looking for skills to help me get back to that world takes precedence. And while I do that, Ou and the dragon king come to me.

“Are you awake?”

“It’s been a while, lad.”

“I have a lot of questions on my mind, but why is the dragon king here?”

“You asked a mouthful.”

Alzahak has a vague smile on his face, like the question troubles him.

“Firstly, a thank you is in order. It was the dragon king who healed you.”

Apparently Alzahak treated me.

I say thank you, and he says it was no problem.

“More importantly, you should all return to Archa.”

“We don’t have the means. The door was destroyed when you came over.”

Ignis responds to Alzahak with a sharp tone.

“Hm, I see. Then I will share some of my power with the lad. That way he will be able to cross through worlds just once.”

Alzahak’s body starts glowing, and that light flows over to me.

“Your bodies won’t survive here.”

“Are you going to be all right by yourself?

“No problem. I heard about the circulatory organ from Kochel. And the demon king system has been destroyed, so that girl should be freed from the demon king spell. Although not immediately.”

The demons seem happy, but a little lonely too.

“Aren’t you going back?”

“I have said my goodbyes. And Eliza has been protecting it all this time, so I believe it is my turn.”

Alzahak says in response to Ignis. His eyes show firm determination.

The demons gather around me, and I use the Transfer skill.

Now it shows another destination, where Hikari and the others are.

“Oh, lad. I heard from Ou that you are looking for holy tree fruit? If so, you should head deeper into the dungeon in the Dragon Kingdom’s castle. You should find it there.”

Says Alzahak the moment I use the Transfer skill.

You really should have said something that important before, not just when we’re leaving.

The skill activates, not even giving me time to ask anything, and my vision gets distorted.

I feel a little dizzy, and almost fall, but someone holds me.

When I’m able to see well again, I see Hikari holding me.

“Welcome back, master.”

When I hear that, it really makes me feel that I’m back.

Ignis and the other demons also speak to the demons that stayed behind, and Ou is saying something to Eris.

I look at Mia, who is laying on the floor next to Eris, and that gives me the feeling that I still have things I need to do. But for now, I’m just happy to be back.

“I’m back, Hikari.”

Another good chapter so the dragon king is choosing to take the goddess place well I guess it is turn the probably be lonely for him like it was for her. When the MC was away wasn’t there signs on this side of him dying or something, or was it that almost happened and dragon king healed him in time
