“It can’t be…!? My plan…!?”
“Hero condition number five… Take your friends’ hands and fight together. I’m not alone. I have friends who will help me out when I need.”
Regen stumbled and groaned in shock, upon hearing Ryuuga through the communications device and realizing his other group had been destroyed.
One simple coincidence destroyed his plot, and he could say nothing in response to Yuugo.
Now that his best insurance policy, the other group, was gone, he was at a clear disadvantage.
He still thought there had to be something he could do, but…?
“T-the other group was beaten…!? Gabejin was defeated!?”
“We’re done for! It’s over! Run away! Run away!!”
“H-hey! Don’t just run away! Come back! Come back and fight!!”
Regen’s underlings also learned that the other group was destroyed, and could not handle the shock.
Their confidence was gone, as they realized there was no way to win anymore, and they began to individually run away.
Regen lost command of them as they spread out and were defeated by guards, and he could only watch his underlings be apprehended.
“Your trump card was destroyed, and your underlings abandoned you… Now it’s over, Regen!”
“Not yet! I’m not done yet! If I’m not caught, I can make a comeback as many times as needed!! So now…!”
The organization collapsed and he lost everything. But the one thing he still had was himself.
If he could avoid being caught, he could rise again.
He spread his wings to escape like when he killed Thomas, intending to soar away from the chaos on the ground.
“You’re not getting away! Come, Skull!”
“Hihin!!”
Yelled Yuugo as he saw Regen attempt to escape to the sky, and his dear horse Skull broke down a wall to run towards him.
Yuugo jumped onto its back, and Jinba’s boss yelled to him.
“Jinba, use my horse! Finish this!!”
“Boss…! Thank you!”
Jinba got on the horse prepared for him, and focused on Regen.
Just before he kicked the horse in the stomach to run out, Yuugo spoke from next to him, and seeing him took him aback.
“Let’s go, Jinba!!”
‘Here we go, Jinba!’
“…!”
He saw Yuugo put his full trust in him as they were about to ride together… And saw his old partner in him.
Jinba’s heart beat faster, his soul made his blood boil, and he howled with a strong tone.
“Yes…! Let’s go! Let’s catch him!!”
With that, the two horses ran.
They weaved through the fight between guards and ruffians, went over their heads, and began their pursuit, bringing panic and irritation to Regen.
“Dammit! You people are stubborn!! How far are you chasing me!?”
“To the ends of the galaxy if it means catching wretches like you! You’re not getting away!”
“Don’t underestimate my tenacity or the unrelenting earnestness of heroes! You have nowhere to run, Regen!”
“Shut up! Don’t get in my way!”
His plans were destroyed one after the other, and he exploded with anger at Yuugo and Jinba’s words, who were still attempting to stop him from escaping.
He turned and glided as he infused his claws with magic energy, shooting magic energy bullets at his enemies.
“Whoa!? This guy really doesn’t know when to give up!”
“I don’t wanna hear that from you!”
Regen would definitely not let himself be caught, and Yuugo and Jinba would absolutely not let him get away.
Neither side knew when to give up, and the dramatic chase continued as they attacked each other.
Regen attacked with magic energy bullets, Yuugo changed Blaster’s form into an arrow arm, and Jinba attacked with his partner’s bowgun.
All attacked and dodged, but Yuugo and Jinba had the numerical advantage.
Regen could feel he was being cornered, and attacked with panic and irritation.
“Disappear… already!!”
He was not taking aim, just shooting a lot of magic energy bullets all over.
If he covered the whole area, he could escape, he thought, but… Their stubbornness went past that.
“Do it, Skull!”
“Bafuhh!”
Skull took a big leap as flames appeared on its hooves.
It went not straight towards Regen, but diagonally towards a wall and eventually on it.
“Wha!? What!?”
Skull’s stunt shocked Regen, who was fired upon with the arrow arm.
He just barely dodged, but the position he took broke his balance.
“Got you, Regen!!”
“Damn…!”
Jinba did not let this opening escape him, brushed aside an incoming magic energy bullet with his sword, and used his other hand to point the bowgun at Regen.
The arrow released from it pierced one of the large bat wings, leading Regen to lose his ability to fly and bringing him crashing down. After the impact, he rolled flat on the ground.
