Regen hit the ground, bounced, and groaned with pain.
He managed to withstand the intense pain and stagger to his feet, but Yuugo and Jinba glared at him.
“Regen…! You’re going to pay for killing my partner!”
“Regen, the leader of a big criminal organization! Serial child kidnapper and large-scale rioter! And for the crime of killing a guard… It’s judgment time!”
“What is this nonsense…!? I’m not done yet! I’m not gonna end here!!”
Regen showed a final resistance in response to their words.
He showed persistence as the boss of a criminal organization, and since his provocations showed no sign of surrender, they decided to pacify him by force.

Jinba spoke with a sword in his right hand and his partner’s memento in his left.
Yuugo clenched his fists tight, and both ran towards Regen.
“It’s over, Regen!!”

Yuugo yelled while infusing magic energy in his left hand.
He jumped high at the same time, and Regen saw him attacking from above, and did not know whether to focus on him or Jinba.
This hesitation probably lasted only a moment, but… that moment was fatal, as Regen lost the opportunity to guard or dodge.

Regen was hit in the face by Yuugo’s magic energy infused left hand as he came down from his leap.
He stumbled while screaming, was cut in the chest by Jinba’s sword, and the pain made him scream again.

Regen swung his arms and staggered, as he turned towards the two that attacked him.
At that moment, his chest that was just cut was pressed with Thomas’ bowgun.
“Eek…!?”
The bowgun held with the left hand was pressed against the wound, loaded with a magic energy arrow… and Regen’s voice spasmed with fear as he saw Jinba’s finger on the trigger.
He trembled with fear as he pleaded.
“W-wait, Jinba! Just wait a…!!”
“Regen…”
Regen pleaded for mercy, but Jinba was not listening.
He smiled daringly, snorted… And said just one thing to his sworn enemy before pulling the trigger.
“…Bye!”
“Eek!? Guaaaaaaaaaah!!”
With that word, Regen’s chest wound was hit with a magic energy arrow.
The anger and tenacity of Jinba, who continued chasing his worn enemy, and Thomas, who once did the same, was given form in that arrow that pierced Regen and sent him flying far back.
Regen hit a wall, screamed, and crumpled after a big explosion.
He was back in his human form, and as Jinba approached him, he took out handcuffs and spoke to him.
“This is the end for you, Regen. Stay put and pay for your crimes.”
“Ku, kukuku…! Nothing’s over. Others will cause chaos without me. Catching me isn’t the end, Jinba. Crime will never disappear, no matter the era…!”
“Still. Our battle is over. And I will stop the swirling ambitions of evil as many times as I have to. To protect the city and its people.”
Said Jinba as he handcuffed Regen.
This spelled the end of this long fateful case.
Jinba captured his enemy and got revenge for his partner, but what could he be thinking?
“It’s not simple, but… this case is over.”
Yuugo watched as Jinba handcuffed Regen, and thought about how many emotions must be swirling inside Regen, but whispered with relief that this case reached a good resolution.
