We run as fast as we can.
This is our only chance, now that it’s not interested in us.
If it sets its sights on us, it might catch us without any resistance and kill us, like the sea turtle.
We try as hard as we can to get away, but we have to stop when a new monstrosity appears in the volcanic world.
A horned whale appears from the lava flowing down.
It has gorilla-like limbs attached to its body, and many thorns on its back. It looks like a whale, but has a metallic body and it’s covered in a lot of lava.
It glances at us, and flies towards the fly monster like it lost interest in us.
My blood freezes
The heat exuding from it breaks the barrier and my skin burns, but the fear makes me forget to use Healing Magic.
Why did these giant kaiju appear?
I curse to myself, and kick Fuuma in the stomach to get away from here quickly.
Fuuma groans, and starts falling straight to the ground.
I look at it to see what happened, and see it passed out, so the Wind Magic it was using stopped.
I’m sure it’s the pressure from the kaiju. I get how it feels, but try a little harder. Without Fuuma’s mobility, we’re going to get caught in that big kaiju battle.
I take the rising dragon chakram, grab Fuuma by the stomach, and use Wind Magic to create a horizontal tornado that I ride.
But I’m not as fast as Fuuma. My magic is stronger and activates faster, but Fuuma is a lot better at simply handling Wind Magic.
If Fuuma was doing this, we might get away from the shock waves of the fighting monsters.
But it’s me.
Two large masses collide behind me.
Something cold like a beam, and something hot like a laser burn and freeze. There’s an explosion that changes the geography of this area,
Watching this, the bear monster’s explosion seems cute.
I peek at the kaiju, and see the fly swinging its scythes, and the whale catching them with its arms. Both open their mouths, and thick magic energy concentrates to the point where it feels it might evaporate this whole area.
Ah, this is bad.
I take something out of the Storage Space.
The stupidly huge magic collides, and with a sound, destroy the whole area.
If I was alone it would’ve evaporated me in seconds, regardless of how much I heightened my defense. That destructive after shock sticks to the turtle shell, and it desperately hangs on.
Yes, I took out the shell of the giant sea monster.
It was the sturdiest thing in the world as far as I know.
I hang on to this thing that’s bigger than a baseball stadium’s dome, and hang on desperately as it feels like I’ll be blown away.
Normally just being here would roast us alive, but we’re hanging on thanks to the perpetual spring scarf that adjusts the temperature around the wearer.
The sea turtle shell still has its contents, and a nice smell fills the air as they get roasted.
This is a deadly situation, but my stomach’s growling. Maybe my instincts are speaking more loudly precisely because I’m near death.
The destructive wave sops, and the mountains around here are gone. The snow in front of me is gone too, which tells me how frightening those attacks really were.
All that remains in this hellish world is the two giant kaiju.
And the sea turtle shell.
It throbs, and eyes appear.
I cry, and attempt to escape the three-way kaiju battle breaking out behind me.
Uluru (Giant bug monster)
The guardian deity of the snow world. It appeared as a bug this time, but it takes many forms. Its body is not that sturdy, but it can regenerate as long as there is snow. For it to manifest in this world, a certain amount of snow must have been taken from it, and it spawns to take it back.
*A monster that once destroyed a civilization that existed somewhere.
Flame emperor dragon (Whale monster)
A dragon that rises from beyond the volcano. It has high firepower and resistance. Has no interest in the weak, and appears in response to the strong. A god killing dragon. A bothersome dragon.
*A being worshiped in a world that existed somewhere.
