Level Gacha ~ It turns out the dump stat 『Luck』 is the most important – Roll 341 – Beehive

We reach the place where we think the Killer Bee spawned, and see a giant beehive. No… Beehives aren’t like this. They’re usually stuck to something like a tree or a power pole, or under a roof…

But this one…

“It’s not standard in more ways than one.”

The size, and just the way it is are strange.

“Did it grow from the ground like a tree?”

“It’s like an anthill.”

“So is this a bee hill?”

“Yes, lady, at this scale, you could call it that.”

“I haven’t seen this in the documents of the second association…”

“…If it’s this big, are the larva huge too?”

I heard they were tasty, but that’s because of the small size. These holes are big enough for a maroon bee to pass, so I doubt I can eat the larva that lives here in one bite.

“What will you do, master?”

“Isn’t it obvious? Destroy it.”

But before that, let’s have a look just in case.

*****

These stats… are pretty unbalanced.

If it doesn’t have a level, it means it doesn’t give experience, and its skills won’t drop. It’s nice that items still drop, but there’s a lot I’m curious about the Solidify and Direct skills, and the special skills. It really is a shame they won’t drop.

But I have to keep it together.

“Anyway… Seih!”

I swing down and cut the bee hill.

Ghin!

Maybe it’s because I didn’t use the full boost, or because this is the monster with the highest Constitution I’ve seen, but I only manage to cut one layer.

“It’s tough.”

“Shouta, look!”

“!?”

‘Bzzzzz.’

‘Bzzzz!!’

‘Vuvuvu!’

‘Vuvuvuvu…!’

Maroon bees and Killer Bees suddenly appear to protect the Killer Hive, trying to encircle us. The problem isn’t the maroon bees all around us, it’s the four Killer Bees in the outer edge under the effect of Direct. They all seem furious over being attacked.

From now on, I think it’s best to attack it with some real power to bisect it… But thankfully, they appeared a little far away. That means the noise from the wings is far, and I can still give instructions!

“Maki and Seren, take care of the rare and base ones behind us. Aki and Iris, take the left, Aira and Enril, support the others while taking on the right! Ayane, attack all of them with Enki’s support! Kasumi… Stand by.”

““““Yes!””””

“Yes, I understand…”

“I’ll take the front!”

【Level up】

【Leveled up from eighty-eight to ninety】

We keep taking down bees, and as the waves of enemies finally settle, silence returns to the area around the hive.

I attack again just in case, and no reinforcements appear. That was probably their whole force.

“Full boost. Bladeless Sword II!”

The Killer Hive is instantly torn apart, and it turns to smoke, which disappears as items spread around.

“The smoke doesn’t move here either…”

“It’s completely different from how it was.”

“No one knew there was a hive like that in this forest in the first place.”

“Master, I collected everything.”

“Thanks.”

“Shouta, do you think the Killer Bee extra thick honey is edible?”

“How many came out?”

“Four.”

There are containers with golden shiny viscous liquid in Maki’s hands.

Maroon bees and Killer Bees also dropped honey in those containers, but the shine tells me this one is better.

Name: Killer Bee extra thick honey

Grade: Epic

Classification: Food

Description: Honey collected by maroon bees, extra concentrated. A delicacy with a first-class taste. It is not poisonous, but eating too much can cause cavities.

“It warns about cavities. Well, so we just have to not eat too much?”

“You have Self Control so give it a shot and see if it’s okay.”

“Is that safe…”

“Our poison tester!”

“You’re taking on that role, big brother…”

“Well, it says it’s not poisonous, so I guess it should be okay.”

It’ll be nice if it’s so good that it puts me in a trance, but if I start acting weird, they should stop me.

“All right. Well then, apparently there are two swarms of bees that didn’t get involved in this ruckus. There are probably hives there too, so let’s beat them down.”

““““Yes!””””

“…”

Everyone responds, but Kasumi seems kind of low energy.
