Walking in another world – Chapter 379 – To the capital – Part three

Three days after Windsor left the faraway town, Suiren was contacted.

Apparently they’re going to reach the Kingdom of Elesya tomorrow morning. However, Ghido and the others’ plan is already under way, and they’re going to attack the kingdom early tomorrow.

It would be one thing if it was just the demons, but because of the beast people helping them, and judging by the conditions in the fortress city, tomorrow is the ideal time to attack, so they can’t change the plan.

I go back to my room, and check the items in the Item Box again.

I have several healing potions, including full potions. Not just for me, I also gave them to the others in item bags.

Oh, and Naoto and the others were surprised about the item bags. I guess it makes sense to be surprised about someone handing out a rare item to everyone.

We have plenty of healing potions, thanks to the medicinal herbs gathered by the people of this town. And of course, I gave them potions too.

Next, the mithril sword. It was damaged during the fight with Elizabeth, but I fixed it with Alchemy. Its magic energy conductivity is as good as before too.

Then I check the throwing knives, the gun, and see if I didn’t forget anything.

“I guess I’ll cap it off by making this.”

And by that, I mean the magic item to use as a marker for Transfer.

Windsor took one with him, but I want to make another one to be able to come back here.

Even if everything ends well there and we go to the Dragon Kingdom next, I still need to bring Naoto back here.

Maybe we could save time if one of the demons flew to the Dragon Kingdom, but Mia’s problem is totally our problem, so I feel reluctant to ask. Although I’m pretty sure they would accept.

I also want to stop by Majolica in the Magic State of Efa. I think I need to go there and talk when this is over.

“Let’s go ahead and make it then.”

I activate the skill and make the magic item. Then I place it on the bed and activate Transfer, and see I have two options now. It worked.

That makes traveling between towns and countries much easier. Although that will also get in the way of leveling up the Walking skill.

I call up the status panel just to check, and see something that grabs my attention.

Name – (Sora Fujimiya ) / Job – (Sorcerer) / Race – Otherworlder / No Level

HP – 1090/1090 / MP – 1040/1040 (+200) / SP – 1090/1090

Strength…1080 (+0) / Stamina…1080 (+0) / Agility…1080 (+0)

Magic power…1080 (+200) / Dexterity…1080 (+0) / Luck…1080 (+0)

Skill – (Walking Lv108) – Effect – (User won’t get tired no matter how much they walk) – (Get one experience point with each step)

Experience points – 683749/1000000

I lost fifty MP.

I try breaking the magic item, and sure enough, it goes back to 1090/1090

“Master, what are you doing?”

I’m surprised when I hear a voice all of a sudden.

When did she get in here?

“I knocked many times, but you didn’t answer.”

Says Hikari while adorably puffing her cheeks.

I guess I was too focused. I didn’t notice at all.

“Sorry, sorry. I was making the magic item to use with Transfer.”

“Transfer?”

“Yes. Remember that mark I gave you for me to come back? I was checking if I could make more than one.”

“More than one?”

“Yes. If I leave it, I can use Transfer to come back to it any time, but…”

“That’s useful. What’s the problem?”

“Well, every time I use it, my MP… The amount of magic energy I have goes down. That means that if I keep making them, they will spend a lot of magic energy, and I might not be able to use magic.”

I need to check if each costs me fifty MP, or if the price goes up when I make a third one.

Also, I can break them, but I want to see how durable they are.

“Do you want to help, Hikari?”

“Yes, you can count on me!”

So, first I make another magic item, and then another one.

I check my MP, and each cost me fifty.

I check to see if I can break one from a distance, but apparently I have to touch them directly to break them.

Then I ask Hikari to see if she can break one by attacking it, but it feels like she can barely do it with a magic energy infused mithril dagger. It’s pretty tough.

“Master, this is hard.”

She says.

“Hikari, you don’t have that collar anymore, the symbol that you were a slave. You don’t have to call me master.”

Is what’s on my mind more than the magic item.

“…I can’t call you master?”

I steel myself against how cute she sounds, and nod.

Well, Kotori already knew about Hikari, so that was fine, but Naoto, Shun, and especially Kaede were really staring at me.

I guess for people who don’t know her backstory, I’m just making a small girl call me master.

“…All right. But I’ll change the way I talk after big sister Mia wakes up.”

I think that’s her way of encouraging me to help Mia quickly.

“All right, let’s add that to the list of reasons to save Mia.”

“Yes.”

And then, the next morning, I go back to the capital of the Kingdom of Elesya.
