What if an artificial intelligence reincarnated in an underperformer’s body in another world? ~The result is super technology that will surpass anything in that world of magic – Chapter 78 – The artificial intelligence sees the corrupt merchant’s water balloon

The other knights noticed it and ran, with Qualia and Kernel not far behind.

But the tear gas surrounding that area bought Ddos enough time.

“Hi, hi, Revision Theta can… Ahyahya… It can take down a whole battalion unscathed… Uwaaaaah!?”

When Ddos turned around, he saw Qualia and Ace after him, well ahead of the others.

The tear gas was clearly not working. It made sense for a magic doll like Ace, but why it was not working on Qualia was a mystery to him.

“Hi, hihi, hiiiii!? Why is the poison not working on him!? Is he really human!?”

He pushed his plump body further, and his legs covered in sloth moved faster.

His saving grace was the distance he got right at the start. Qualia was not fast enough to shikushi, and Ddos managed to cover the distance to the chimera faster.

“I made it. I made it! Buhihihi… Idiooooots! Thanks for everything so far, serves you right!”

Ddos started yelling in excitement, as he opened the door to an underground bunker that was disguised with dirt.

He ran down the stairs frantically, and the moment he got inside, it began to rain.

It was a downpour, but he stayed dry. He just kept getting lucky.

“Dark clouds really elude me!”

His self-esteem was at a fever pitch, as he finally got his hands on the cage that housed Revision Theta.

“Ahh, ahh, Revision Theta! I brought you food! Hyaha, buhi, buhihihihihi…”

“Gyaaaah.”

A giant reptilian head colored light purple faced Ddos, with a chin big enough to feel repulsive.

The power of the chimera Revision Theta was truly incredible.

In the past, it was made to fight a hundred tough men as part of an experiment, but not even magic infused attacks scratched it. They were all gobbled up.

Then there were the skills of the magic stones, that turned the test site into a vacant lot. It was on a whole other level compared to the ones the magic dolls used.

It slaughtered everything one-sidedly. If a hundred of these were produced and let loose on the capital, it would be nothing but a smoldering field in an hour.

Its uncontrollable nature, danger, and propensity to feed on people led the kingdom to ban its production with no exception.

“Good boy, good boy.”

“Gya… Aaah…”

But Ddos paid close attention to his unlawful project, and funded research to make the chimera controllable. And his reward, was a very strong pet that would listen to him.

And that was the day to show it off to the world.

Qualia, Ace, Kernel, everyone would be powerless before that jaw.

It could feed on everyone, without a single person being spared. And then, Ddos would defect to the Zero Day Empire.

“…Aaah…”

Ddos had finished laying out his plans, when he finally noticed it.

The cries of the monster inside the cage felt awfully weak.

“…Gya…”

There was a heavy sound of something hitting the floor.

Ddos looked inside the cage again, and saw the chimera with no intention of coming out.

The cage was covered in blue blood, and the parts that were illuminated looked terribly bent and damaged. All the magic stones had been destroyed, and it was beyond recovery.

“Eh?”

The chimera Revision Theta had already been defeated.

“…Why?”

The chimera was in no shape to fight. The strongest monster was fatally wounded all too soon.

Why?

That word ran around Ddos’ mind, until he heard footsteps. And they were coming from inside the cage.

“You’re wrong, bastard.”

The voice felt as though it pierced him, and sent a shiver down his spine.

It sounded as though it could be coming from a boy or a young man, but it was strangely low.

“W-who!? Did you do this to Revision Theta!?”

“…The chimera is a victim too, so I let it sleep.”

The person stepped out of the shadows, but Ddos could not see what he looked like.

His body was fully covered by an indigo blue raincoat, his hair was hidden by a hood, and his face covered by a white fox mask.

Ddos had no idea this was the monster known as Anonymous, but his abnormal appearance made him even more scared.

“It’s because of bastards like you that magic dolls can’t smile.”

Anonymous pressed his palms together.

“The sound of rain won’t stop. The world where Love died is still filled with grief. Love can’t see the end of the rainbow.”

Anonymous said as if it was a prayer, and pulled his palms apart.

“Die.”

Anonymous’ chest began to shine with a radiant light, which declared…

“Dragon.”

The light pulsated, with the drum of life, the color of a heartbeat.

“A skill…!? And Dragon… An ancient magic stone…!? Wait, half a year ago…!?”

Ddos could say no more.

The pulsating light took the shape of dragon wings, and ran all over that underground room. And then, it enveloped Anonymous like the gentle embrace of a mother.

It was an embrace in the shape of love.

“Reverse.”

“Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!”

“Voice detected. Recognized as Ddos’ voice.”

Qualia and Ace, who were ahead of the others, heard a scream, and as they turned a corner, they saw the end.

Anonymous stood next to a monster covered in magic stones, that he most certainly dragged from underground. And Anonymous was also holding a plump body with his left hand.

“Help, help, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!”

Pop.

Ddos’ limbs ruptured like water balloons.

There was no magic being used, just four blows from Anonymous’ right hand.

He just swung them lightly, and Ddos’ limbs flew.

“Ah, ayahaa, aaa, aaaaa, aaa.”

The red shower poured mercilessly.

Ddos’ blood and flesh fell on Anonymous, the ground, and Ddos, who was unable to get up.

Anonymous threw Ddos’ body, which resembled a bagworm at this point, right in front of the weak chimera.

“A, ah… Hel… Theta… Help me…”

“It’s not listening to you anymore.”

Said Anonymous coldly, to a Ddos that could no longer crawl.

“Apparently it always wanted to eat the financier that made it like this.”

“…What…”

“It wants you to be its last meat.”

The next thing Ddos saw, was the chimera opening its mouth.

Qualia moved in to save him, but his path was blocked by Anonymous.

“Stop, stop, I, your, masteeeeeeer!”

The drooling mouth and the closely packed teeth that could easily crunch steel filled Ddos’ sight.

There was no escape.

He had no arms to block, and no legs to run, as a fear beyond sharp pain approached.

All he could do was wait to be devoured.

“H-help… A, aa, ah, ah, ah, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, ah…”

The last thing he experienced, was him becoming like ham.

Then there was the crunching sound of meat being bitten off. It was such a powerful bite, that the remaining part flew away.

Even Qualia knew this was a miserable and violent death. Although it made him feel nothing in particular.

He just watched the being in front of him with caution.

“Human detected. According to prior information, perceived as Anonymous.”

“Are you a knight from Lobelia’s place?”

The last thing that remained of Ddos, his bloody head, fell on the ground.

But no one was looking at the head covered in mud and blood.
