They smiled as they felt the sense of accomplishment that came with completing such a big task. And then, the mother and child approached them, and Mina spoke.
“Mister, Miss, thank you for saving my mother!”
“We should be the ones thanking you. It’s because you told us about the monster armor beasts that we could take action so quickly. And it’s thanks to you that your mother was saved.”
“Then Mina’s a hero like you, mister!”
“Yes! It’s your feat too, Mina!”
Yuugo smiled and gave Mina a thumbs up.
As Yuugo thought that a child’s smile really was a great thing, he felt proud that he was able to protect it.
And as Melt saw this back and forth, she spoke.
“Yuugo. Do you want to keep accepting quests together like this? I know I can trust you, and we can resolve things if something like this happens again!”
“Yes, you’re right! I need to make money too, and I don’t have to worry about anything if you’re my partner!”

Melt and Yuugo shook hands. This incident deepened their bond, and built trust between them.
