“Gah, gugah…! Dammit, dammit…!!”
Zaraki looked at Ryuuga with hatred, as he walked towards his friends.
Setsuna and Sakura staggered as they walked, but called out their friend’s name.
“Raiha! Raiha!!”
“Hang on, Raiha!”
“Hn, hn… Setsuna? Sakura…?”
Raiha responded as she slowly opened her eyes.
She was hazy for a while, but turned to them with surprise as she slowly understood what was going on.
“Why…? Wasn’t I sealed by Koumaru…!?”
“Mister Ryuuga freed you! He defeated Zaraki and saved you!!”
“Ryuuga…!?”
Raiha then realized she was being held by Ryuuga, looked at him with her eyes wide open, and asked a question while perplexed.
“Why…!? I killed your father…!?”
“…Don’t ask me questions.”
Ryuuga replied with his catchphrase. Surely he did not yet know how to treat her.
Raiha shook her head while looking like she was about to cry, also not knowing how to treat Ryuuga, but he continued.
“…Don’t say nonsense like when you said that was fine.”
“Eh…?”
“You have friends who worry enough to risk their lives for you. Don’t ignore how they feel and treat your life like it’s nothing.”
Ryuuga rebuked her for what she said just before being sealed, and Raiha looked very surprised.
After that, she looked at the others who were in tatters after fighting to save her, and nodded with tears in her eyes.
“Yes…! Thank you so much…!”
“…Don’t say that to me, tell it to your friends.”
Said Ryuuga bluntly, and he left Raiha with Sakura.
Sakura was happy to see that while Raiha was weak, her life did not seem to be in danger, as Ryuuga and Setsuna turned to the groaning Zaraki.
“Gufuh! Gah, Guaaah!!”
“…It looks like his body can’t handle the overly strong loong power.”
“Yes… Without the jewel, he can’t control it.”
The half loong Raiha and two magic items with long power. Zaraki took their power to himself, but without the jewel, the power inside him caused him suffering.
The power that quickly healed the wounds given to him by Yuugo had nowhere to go, and rampaged around his body. This pain was surely beyond imagination.
Everyone thought his body would collapse, but…?
“Don’t look down on me…! I…!! Am not going down like this!!”
“!?!?!?”
He howled and screamed.
Zaraki stood up with exploding emotions, and everyone gulped with surprise as he cut both his arms.
It seemed like desperation, but… Melt looked at the severed arms and pointed at them while yelling when she noticed something.
“L-look! Those arms are changing shape!!”
Everyone looked to where she was pointing, and saw them moving on their own and change shape.
They swelled and grew limbs, turning into human-sized loong.
“He concentrated the overflowing loong power in his arms and cut them to prevent his body from breaking down…!”
“How…! He truly is crazy…!!”
It was a desperate move by Zaraki to expel the loong power in him.
He could not maintain his powered up loong person form, but managed to avoid death, and spoke as he used his regeneration power to its limit to regrow the arms.
“You’re not gonna get away with this…! I’m gonna kill you all!!”
“Stubborn guy. He should just go down!”
The weakened Zaraki got up, as Marcos looked at the two transformed arms and spoke with annoyance.
The loong flapped their big wings, and their four limbs made them look more like dragon monsters.
Everyone was surprised to see Zaraki refused to go down and boosted his ability to still fight, but none shrunk back or were afraid.
“Can you still go!?”
“Of course! We can’t let you look cool on your own!!”
“I haven’t ran wild enough yet either! I’m glad I have someone to face!”
“Zaraki is weakened! Normal attacks without loong power should work!”
“We have our magic items back, so we can finally fight properly! We have no intention of losing!!”
“Everyone…!!”
Whispered Raiha as she saw her wounded friends had no intention of giving up, and felt dazzled.
Jinba stood by her side as if to protect her, and the irritated Zaraki yelled.
“What’s with you…!? How can you even say that!? You’re all at your limit!!”
“Fuh…! We are more lenient than Ryuuga, so we will answer that.”
“We just need one reason not to give up!! Hero condition number one!!”
A feeling sprouted from this incomprehensible behavior.
Zaraki could not understand how their hearts were so strong, and was even more irritated by their words.
“Die! Die! Diiiie!! All of you, die!!”
As he yelled, both loong attacked.
Everyone prepared for battle, but just as they were about to intercept the loong… a dark shadow neighed and jumped over them.
“Bafuh! Hihiin!!”
“Gyurorororoh!?”
“Zahbaah!?”
“Is that… Skull!? Why is it here!?”
Melt was surprised to see what that dark shadow that jumped over them was, as its black body was enveloped in flames.
It landed, repelling the two loong while wrapped in crimson flames, and an energetic voice echoed.
“Everyone! Sorry I’m late! It looks like I made it to the climax!”
Ryuuga smiled as he saw the strong and bright young man calling out to his friends while coming down from his horse.
After a small sniff, he spoke with trust and gratitude to his friend who was running towards him.
“Hahaha…! Really good timing, Yuugo!!”
