Gadogada stabs its sword into the ground to keep itself from falling.
There are cuts all over its body, which is visibly in tatters. It feels like it shouldn’t be able to get up anymore, but there is still fire in its eyes.

So they have a concept of siblings? And its mouth is closed like it has no intention of saying any more.

Flash Strike is a combat arts skill, but it feels like the super powered version of the arts skill Impact down to a single technique. When it’s at full boost, Impact IV is also activated, and Flash strike is leveled up to III. It’s grown to the point of being powerful enough to cut Gadogada’s head off.
But I was being debuffed by Duel V, so it would probably be even more powerful if I used it now.
“Shouta!”
“Darling~!”
With the barrier down, Maki and Ayane jump at me.
“You looked cool as always!”
“The best!”
“Ah, thanks.”
I pamper both as the others come this way too.
Aira is collecting drops like always, but Aki and Kasumi’s attention is on Hand of Sorcery…
“Watching those black arms work really made me feel how great that skill is.”
“Is that your skill, big brother?”
“Yes. It was the base version when I got it a while back, so I could only bring out one arm. But now that it’s II, I can summon two at once. That means I can finally have them use the bow.”
I learned it during the kraken battle, but it was a bad opponent to brawl with just one arm, and it was a bad match for the water type raging stream trident I was keeping as a spare. And it couldn’t use the bow with one arm.
Now that it’s II and I can control one more arm, it really is on a whole other level.
“Can these arms move on their own?”
“No, I control everything. It feels like I have four arms. I couldn’t do it without Parallel Thinking.”
“Uwah, sounds rough.”
“Our gracious Parallel Thinking. It’s gotta be the one you use the most, right?”
“Hahaha, I guess so.”
“…Maki and Ayane, can you switch out?”
Says Aki, and both let go. Then Aki steps in, and Kasumi hesitantly hugs me too.
Do they have an after battle hug order?
“Master.”
“Ah, good job Aira. Thanks for always collecting them.”

If their stats were lowered thirty percent, that’s really crazy.
Ten was good… If they’re that weakened, even the fifth floor that other adventurers avoid might become a hunting ground. Rare monsters have different debuff rates, so they might have even gone down by fifty percent.

And so we move away from the goblin settlement.
It’d be one thing if regular goblins came at us while we rest, but a rare one would be annoying. I can deal with them, but then I won’t rest.
I can see on the map that there’s a dungeon wall if we walk further from the settlement, and apparently monster spawn rates drastically go down around there. They appear in big packs everywhere along the path, so the girls are tired too, and we should rest there.
“Do they eat?”
“They only need magic energy as fuel, but apparently they can actually eat. Like a treat. Well, Enki doesn’t eat at all.”
‘Gogo~.’
Enki and the others are working as guards while we eat. Since I’m the only one who can feed them magic energy, the others give them sweets as I finish giving them magic energy.
Although since I guess Iris’ taste in food is like mine, it eats the same as I do at the table.
“Looks like Enki likes that.”
“It doesn’t eat, but instead it likes it when I pet it.”
“Eh… I get that… I like it when you pat me too, big brother. Can I pet you too, Enki?”

“Yay!”
The two sisters are pampering Seren, when Aki suddenly raises her head like she thought of something.
“Hey Shouta, did a rare monster spawn on the third settlement where we were?”
“…Not yet.”
“It looks like the thirty that spawn with it are there, but there’s no red mark.
“But wasn’t there a new rare monster on the first one by the time we reached the second?”
“And that should mean there was a new one on the second by the time I fought Gadogada… It took about thirty minutes both times, but we’ve been resting for an hour. If it was just about time, it should be spawning already…”
Then the conditions are different, or it’s a combination. Or maybe it’s the same as always, but with no smoke.
